King's Kid Delicatessen — Restaurant in Pequannock Township

This has been our go to breakfast sandwich place for many many years. It used to be great. In the last six months it has gone straight downhill. After a nasty staff has taken over, who barely speak English, and have messed up a simple sandwich order SIX TIMES in recent months, today, we are officially done with this place. Today, I made the person taking phone orders repeat my order back to me three times and it was still wrong. ONE SANDWICH. The quality of the food is now old, the sandwiches skimpy, the staff arrogant and unhelpful, and WE ARE DONE. I gave this place 2 stars for what it used to be. What it is...

Once again, it was terrible. I stopped going for five months because the last time I went, they never drained the side order of bacon. It ruined my sweatshirt and shorts, as well as the center console and floor mats in the car; seriously, ounces of bacon grease poured out of the container. Today the Taylor ham would have served better as my shoe leather, can't even chew through it. Disco fries, the "gravy" was brown oil with ZERO flavor, and salt at home didn't even solve the taste. Unfriendly staff. Stale, very stale round roll they used for my Bacon/Egg was unacceptable and at $4.50, not the cheapest, small sandwich. Uneventful too. Eating bread based products when stale for me is a big turnoff and BS for such a busy, popular deli and how is it they don't know how to store rolls? Matters not, I'll never again go here. Many delis around and one so much better is right across the street. Nicer people and deli food is done and better made...
