Cross-Contamination & Cleanliness Issues
I’ve been coming to this location since it opened and overall, I really do love this place — the smoothies and wraps are great, and it’s been a favorite go-to for me. However, lately I’ve started to notice some concerning issues that I can’t ignore.
One major issue is cross-contamination, especially regarding food allergies. For example, a chicken wrap I ordered was cut with a knife that had clearly been used on something with peanut butter. Thankfully, I don’t have a peanut allergy, but if I did, this could have ended very badly. That kind of oversight is serious.
More recently, I ordered an oatmeal bowl, and while eating it, I found a hair inside the bowl — which was really off-putting and disappointing.
I want to continue supporting this location, but health and safety standards need to be improved immediately. These aren’t minor mistakes — they pose potential health risks. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses these issues, because I would love to go back with confidence in the quality and care put...
Read moreMy issue wasn’t with the food. I’ve had their quesadillas and smoothie before. My issue is with the delivery service. The app barely works and sends like 34 notifications to your phone for no reason. I know I can turn it off (and I believe I put the setting as no notifications) but still received a ton. And their delivery drivers I swear are lazy or don’t want to do their job. They should work for a lesser restaurant if they’re going to be like this for a fairly new establishment. They should fire the delivery drivers and get new dedicated ones. You (as a potential customer) are honestly better off getting the food and drinks in house. Larry was kind on the phone and helpful, and again the food is good. But unless Larry fires those incompetent delivery drivers, I can’t find myself ordering delivery from them, again (disclaimer: I can’t drive either, so I can’t go there in person). Try their smoothies. Kept me going an entire day...
Read moreMy rating is for the service only. If you have ALLERGIES, I don't recommend going here. I ask for no banana or pineapple due to allergies. I walked around to watch them make my smoothie to ensure I would not be at risk. Chloe had already added the banana with bare fingers. The other girl quickly pointed out the mistake. Ok, mistakes happen. But, Chloe found the mistake funny. She dug into the blender with her bate hands and threw out the banana. She was going to reuse the same blender pitcher to start over. Still giggling. I had to ask them to use a clean one to ensure there was no cross contamination.
Mistakes do happen, which is why I watch. It was the teenage girl laughing that ensures I will not be returning.
Not sure if there are any adult oversight, but these folks need more training. An allergic reaction would have put me in anaphylaxis. Not sure any of the employees could handle that or know what to call...
