… Better have a car, if you want to be allowed inside!! 😫
I was Just There, ten minutes ago (635 pm, a Thursday); though the “Open” neon was on AND the sign by the door still said OPEN, the proprietress was laying down the metal brace under the door frame— she said No, they were Closed.
So, I walked to the Hwy 74 stoplight (if crossing at the one a block North, better have your Will/Testament filed) to go back to the train station. When directly across, I saw a minivan pull up.. and walk right in. I could see the large pink box being folded, for filling: then, out he came. Gee, I guess she just assumed my three-donut purchase wasn’t worth her time. (A Simple Fix: SWITCH your sign, TURN OFF your Neon FIRST!!! Got that?!!?)
Some small businesses… don’t deserve to survive. Ma’am, may you go the way of Jenny’s. Meantime, those that want Good Donuts from an Indie should hit Rose, on 74 at Wilkerson. Better— and nearer the Station— the Winchell’s just East of...
Read moreTried this place for the first time yesterday and WOW is all I have to say. Tried the milk tea and vanilla Snow, both blended with boba and these drinks were very flavorful and delicious. We tried a 10inch submarine and i recommend trying this sandwich. This sandwich is one of the best I've had. I also tried a croissant sandwich and it was delicious. Toasted croissant made it better. My favorite item from here I tried is the ham and cheese filled croissant with jalapeños. These have some spice to them so be ready. All breads are freshly made I believe. Or at least I heard they are. Otherwise all the breads and croissants do taste very fresh. 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone. Will always come back when visiting here again. One of my favorite places I've ever been to. Also forgot to mention the prices here are...
Read moreThe oldest woman I have seen there was rude since I entered and asked for a coffee for the homeless man that was outside. She gave it to me and then I asked her for a dozen donuts and when I told her not to close the box because I was giving him some Donuts she threw it to me on the counter. I asked her then after for 2 hot chocolates and a coffee and another stuff and she all rudely asked me how many i wanted in total but you could tell she was all annoyed leaving me aside and serving another customer. She only finished when I paid her with my card and then she threw it at the counter and I told her not to be rude and to throw things at me. If she understood me, she pretended not to. I spent $ 22, it seems her annoyance was that I asked her for coffee for the homeless man. This store lost me as a...
