RUDE JERK KITCHEN — Restaurant in Perris

My husband and I went last night for the very first time we had already heard it was pretty good from our relatives. Honestly, it was delicious to me. I’ve been in Jamaica and I’ve ate the real food. The authenticity was on point. I ordered two orders of oxtails with plantains that already comes with rice and beans and then some jerk chicken wings on the side and the beef patties. Oh no, they didn’t have beef patties. It was a chicken patties But I’m not gonna knock him on his price because when I took a bite of my food it was worth every dollar my proportions were great. I was not dissatisfied. I would’ve been sad if my oxtail plate was 30 bucks and it wasn’t filled the way it was. I hope they stay in business forever. I appreciate them and I will be going back. First time trying Jamaican food and I didn’t regret it! I had the jerk chicken with greens and rice n peas; chicken was a bit cold I do have to knock it points for that but the flavor was great so that saved it, the greens and rice were nothing to rave about but paired nicely with the chicken. My friend had Oxtails with yams and rice n peas; the oxtails and yams were AMAZING!!! The meat just melts in your mouth like butter and the yams were so sweet I had no idea they could taste that delicious. The serving sizes were generous, will definitely be coming back to taste more of the menu and for the oxtails and yams. Hopefully the chicken is a bit hotter...

I paid $35 for this plate smh I asked the cashier who surprisingly was Hispanic (figures) how many oxtails come in the plate and she told me 5. It seems have they cut an actual whole piece of oxtails into little pieces. A little scoop of pasta, I knew this would happen because most black owned businesses do this in Perris & they never last the food didn’t even come with a drink! My plate was full of rice & peas.
