Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Perry

Normally this place is great, had a bad experience and left a 1-star review. Owner helped resolve this issue same day, which I can applaud. Leaving my bad review (below, in quotations) on here, so people know that issues can/do happen but they will make sure things get corrected, even if the owner has to call you. Can actually recommend this location again.

Previous 1-Star Entry: "Experience went from a 5-star to 1-star within less than an hour... Just happened. [June 26, 2017 at 02:19pm] Simple order of wings (10 Traditional Insane) that was "double-checked" before being bagged to-go. Wings had next to no sauce on them. I paid $9.99 +tax for wings from here because of the sauce, which you can't get at American Deli or S Deli here in Perry.

Now, have tried calling the store for a manager, I get put on hold and never have anyone pick the phone back up. Called the corporate line and all they can do is message the store manager to get in touch with me.

This review will change if the manager does contact me, but not until then. So if this is still 1-star, heed my warning, if they screw up your order, they don't care. They already have your money by then and "customer service" mean nothing to them.

This used to be a 5-star review, have never had an issue before now. But now that I have, and am stuck eating PLAIN wings I could have paid $$ less elsewhere for the SAME thing.

[EDIT] The owner of this location actually got in touch with me. He was a little upset, understandably, that I posted one-star reviews so quickly about a bad experience (more about the speed someone can leave bad reviews than my review itself). He did manage to get in touch with me quickly about the issue. As far as I am concerned, the issue has now been resolved and I can put up my 5-star review again. He apologized about management at the store not being able to speak with me right then and getting left on hold, had valid reason. Owner had to step in, but shows that even the top brass at this location will make sure everything...

Just keep driving by, don't waste your time at this Zaxbys! I hope management sees this review and whips this restaurant in shape. When we ordered our food there were several at the counter waiting. We should have walked out then. We had to wait 20 minutes for our food at a "fast food" restaurant. Not good when you're on a 10 hour road trip. That's not all! There were no lids for our drinks. We waited at the counter for lids. When we finally got our food my husband had to go back to the counter to get a fork because surprise there were none stocked. While he was at the counter waiting for someone to ask him what he needed, a lady received her order and her bag was wet from sauce on the side and bottom of bag. She politely asked for a new bag and looked inside and it looked like the person bagging the food just threw it all in not caring if their box was open and slung the food out in the bag. Next, he gets back to the table in disgust and realizes that we also do not have napkins and there are none out. I go up and get them pretty quickly. But we couldn't finish our food. It wasn't that great. My grilled chicken was not cooked through and we were just over it. We ended up throwing more than half of the food in the full overflowing garbage cans on the way out the door. This restaurant definitely needs some improvement! I don't normally leave bad reviews, but thought it should be left out there for people to read and not waste $20 -$30 on food and service that...

Worse place ever to received food! Kids working here have no respect for customers especially thru drive way! Young Girl had cursed me out in drive thru cause didn’t want food cook for me that were not right! I asked for a fresh grilled chicken sandwich and given me grilled chicken sandwich that were old and covered with cheese with a roach 🪳 in sandwich!🤢🤮 Fries were covered in season salt and were cold! Now days in restaurants you have kids that is working and don’t know what they doing and wanna paying customers to accept whatever food workers want you to have and get attitude when you don’t accept food! Stay away from this place people who worked here and manger does not served good quality food! Everything to this nasty filthy fast food have restrooms with urine and bowel around the toilets and floor that is not mop! Bugs 🐛 🐜 be crawl around and will drop in food if person decide to dine in!
