I went in at 8 a.m. there was some customers but it wasn't people waiting in line. Ordered four eggs over medium, yellows runny, cooked in butter and two orders of bacon, coffee was not hot, the waitress had her phone ringing loud she didn't answer it but it was very annoying, she brings my eggs they are floating in butter and the yellows were cooked and I refuse the eggs, the waitress went to the manager who was cooking, and he says out loud so everyone can hear them I'll try to cook them one more time we are too busy. This is the second time that I have been to the waffle houses in Perry Georgia where cooking the eggs and butter confuses them and it was both times the manager who didn't know what to do. I am from Valdosta I ordered this from Waffle House three to four times a week. I guess if you just go on down the interstate you find managers who know what they're doing don't speak out loud with a form of open rebuke for you ordering your food is certain way. I refused to stay in that environment I left with bacon on the table aid for my coffee which I shouldn't have had to do I only drunk half of it and had to go Cracker Barrel and have to pay for another drink. I did confront the manager for his remarks and attitude, his response that he had tried it three times and could not figure it out and then they were too busy. I cook egg multiple times a week at my house and butter this is pure and simple managers who don't...
Read moreLet me kick this off with a big shoutout to Waffle House - a haven, especially when the morning after hits hard! This particular Waffle House was lightning fast; they swooped in, catered to our needs, and dropped off the life-saving elixir, aka coffee, crucial for our upcoming two-hour drive back home. My order? The bacon melt sandwich, while my better half went for the all-star spread.
Now, here's where it got interesting - I had my heart set on drowning my hash browns in some glorious gravy. But hold your ladles! Our hilarious waitress, a real wit, warned me that the gravy was feeling a bit too runny that day. She tactfully steered me away, not wanting my breakfast to swim rather than sizzle. Kudos to her!
Food? Oh yeah, it hit the spot. Delicious, satisfying, and exactly what we needed to kickstart our day. The staff? Top-notch! They were like old pals, welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience feel like a home away from home.
If you're swinging by the area, this Waffle House is a definite stop. Trust me, the blend of great food, quick service, and a friendly staff, that's the winning combo you won't...
Read moreUsed to love this specific Waffle House 3 years ago, but I can clearly see its gone to hell since then. This was our favorite go to place just about every Thursday the old waitresses new our orders by heart and we’re very friendly and we’re constantly checking if you needed anything. We stopped in there tonight for the first time in awhile and the waitress was very rude, brought us our check before we ever received our food. The tension in the air was so bad and killed our mood we literally had to get to go boxes and eat our food elsewhere, someone else rang us up & she told our waitress we needed to go drinks and boxes and her response to her was “thank you do you want a f’ing cookie” not really sure if she was joking or not but for sure had some attitude the girl ringing us up said “I was just letting you know what your costumers needed” and we still had to wait about 5 for minutes just to get what we needed to leave. She just made the whole place look bad with her attitude, I’d definitely recommend not eating here until they get some new...
