Cozumel Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Perry

Excellent experience last night during our first visit to this new restaurant. Great addition to Perry - we frequently eat out as you can see in my reviews and Cozumel has replaced our top pick for best Mexican

Busy crowded Monday night but seated fast and had immediate drink order and chips/salsa at our table within 5 minutes of being seated.

Food: Hot fresh and very short wait time consider in the crowded restaurant We had a #17 and 20. The tamale and grilled chicken tacos were delicious and flavorful.

Good portion sizes. Prices a tad higher than the other 2 spots in town but quality is far better. You get what you pay for. Good eats. Vast menu with some amazing options. I choose 17 so I could get a good sample: tamale taco and burrito came with 17 each were delicious and full of flavor.

The salsa Hot hot hot My husband couldn’t get enough of it. He is big on having good salsa and Cozumel met expectations in heat and flavor. We had a margarita and peach daiquiri very tasty as expected.

Atmosphere: Pleasant inviting comfortable and friendly staff.

First time I had take out, great!!! Today ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! TACO FAJITAS SALAD had so much water in the bottom of container, soaked the whole bowl. . NO grilled veggies, 3 pieces of raw bell pepper and a spoon full of slightly grilled onions, no mushrooms, as requested. I had to go there and order because they said on the phone they didn’t have a salad like that and I’m looking at it on line as we speak. And people trying to check out and no one knew what they got, neither couple had checks, said no one ever came back to table. I spent 30 bucks in there but never again. I have no idea where all of the juice was from in the box but it ruined the meal. I have tried to call back twice and still haven’t gotten an answer so I’m posting it!!! They need to get it together, service sucked, so I was told, and I was in there almost 15 mins after I was gone 10 mins at most, when I came back to pick meal up!!! I live 3 mins from the place, no reason for that hot mess!!! BE AWARE OF CARRY OUT. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE...

Worst experience ever! I ordered an order to go, got home and some of my items were missing, I went back with my receipt and the staff gave me a smaller size item when I was charged for a large item, I went back home and later found that my main meal was incorrect, I went back again and they re-made my order correct, only took them 3 tries to get it correct and no manager was on duty, the staff said he was on break outside of the restaurant, the staff also wanted to blame all of this error on the new cashier, not the person in the kitchen who was preparing and placing items in the to go bag. Lesson here, always check your order...
