I would like to start off that I have been coming to this establishment way before the new owners of Eden's Legacy - however my review is about my last experience here on Wednesday night. I arrived here with 2 of my girlfriends to have the Pulpo salad and other items that we have had in the past and have enjoyed. Well let's just say this time around it wasn't so pleasant. I can live with the fact that they include an 18% gratuity on your bill but you should really be given a choice of how much tip you would like to leave especially if you had an experience like we did! It started of by asking if there was still the happy hour menu. The waitress tells they no longer do, but then 5 minutes later comes over with an IG advertisement for New Tequila Wednesday with some food specials. So we order from that along with one order of Pulpo salad, plus an order of chicken wings. The waitress never takes our drink order or asks us if we would like something to drink, so I have to wave her down. We ask if there is any happy hour drinks and she informs us that it is buy one get one free. So both my girlfriends order a drink and I a water. Finally, the food starts coming and I go to the waitress I would like Ranch for my chicken wings, she then proceeds to tell me that they do not have any wings. So meanwhile she never came and told me that they didn't have any or offer me something else and 20 minutes had passed. We then ask to have mayo ketchup with our tostones and she then tells us there is a charge for this condiment, yet it does not state this on the menu. Meanwhile since the new owner we have always asked for it and never had an issue. She begins to tell us that they are having a problem with the kitchen and they are now charging for it? Strange but yeah ok. I mean I just ordered a $27 dinner and you are going to charge me for a side condiment? The Pulpo salad had a lot of octopus but the taste was just not there which was very disappointing since we get it all the time. The shrimp tacos were good and so was the chicken quesadilla. Again back to the service - although we still wanted the mayo/ketchup the waitress never brought it over - so I had to get up and ask again for it. We just chucked it up as a bad night but then here comes the bill - the waitress then proceeds to tell us that the buy one get one free has to be drank by the person ordering it. In other words, both of my friends did not want another drink (free drink) so she tells us that we cannot do that that she has to charge them each full price $13.00 each. Hmmmmm ok....so charging us the 18% automatic gratuity which obviously our experience did not deserve is crazy and it does not allow for the consumer to adjust when clearly it is not warranted. Then they overcharge us for the Pulpo salad - on the menu it reads $26.95 and the bill $29.95. They charged me $4.00 for water yet on the menu it states $2.50. The waitress then tells us this is what the system is charging and cannot change it. I then ask at this point for a manager and of course none on duty or can handle this for us. This is straight out false advertisement and you need to honor what you are advertising on your menu. And if you did have a price increase then you need to mark every menu in your establishment with the new prices or produce new menus but to spring this on your patrons is definitely not professional and only left a very bad taste with us. After going back and forth with the waitress she takes $3.00 off, meanwhile our bill is over a $100. I can only hope you take the time to read this Elias and make these important changes and train your staff to handle these situations better if you are not going to have a manager on duty or someone to make...

I had gone to Eden’s for the first time with my girlfriend and was happy to say that we had a wonderful time! We were looking for a new spot to go to and had passed by Eden’s with music pumping and lights shining through the windows, we immediately decided to make a stop. After getting our ID’s checked and walking inside, we were greeted by a great music selection and a nice man who was later identified as Manny, a manager that was working that night. Manny welcomed us with warmth and told us if we had any issues, that he would take care of it for us. We ordered a tequila pineapple and a LIT and they were made to perfection. During our time there, a man was looking at my girlfriend and I kind of strange so I waved over Manny to address the issue and avoid conflict. Manny had gone over and talked to the man who ended up buying us a round of shots and apologizing for the misunderstanding. Manny had assured us that there would be no further issues and was very professional. Throughout the rest of our time there Manny had checked in on us periodically and made sure we were well taken care of. Overall I’d give this place 10 stars if I could due to the professionalism of the staff and the food and drinks but I’ll settle for 5...

This was such a horrendous experience, I don't even know where to begin!! From beginning to end, it was terrible. Short version, I arrived at 1p for lunch with three other friends. They didn't know how to make a basic Bloody Mary which is on the menu. We order a chicken quesadilla to share as an appetizer, and continually had to check on whether it was ready. A full hour later we asked again and the waitress said she forgot to put it in! We then cancel that order because we are starving and ordered chips & guac figuring it was the quickest thing we could get. That took another 15 minutes and came without the guac! We devoured the chips by the time she came with the guac so asked for more chips. The entrees finally arrived... the mofongo was bland but he stew dishes were flavorful. Our lunch took FOUR HOURS. When we got the bill the extra chips were included and we were floored. We intended to pay, but complained about it as well as the horrible service. The full order of the chips & guac were removed, as well as the extra chips and we were comped coffee and dessert. That was a nice gesture, but I will never go there again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone! The worse experience of my...

Authentic and delicious Latin dishes, gorgeous ambience and decor, and exceptional management and staff. I first tried their sancocho when I ordered through Uber eats and the soup was tasty and flavorful. While Uber eats messed up my order, the management at Eden’s Legacy was nice enough and corrected the issue (while Uber ignored and refused to help), so I ended up going back to try their mondogo. I was first blown away by the ambience and decor until I had a spoonful of mondongo. As recommended by the staff, I had my mondongo with rice. The taste and comfort of the disk evoked memories of my favorite home cooked Dominican mondongo that my friends mom used to make. Overall, delicious food and great experience, I will be sure to come back next time for their churrasco as it was highly recommend

This place is awesome under the new management 👏 It keeps the authenticity of a dominican bar while adapting it to provide a good service. The atmosphere is excellent and the music is not too loud during the day. It feels more like an upscale spot in New York City rather than an average spot. Unlike the other restaurants in the area, the staff speaks both English and Spanish. Moreover, the kitchen is professional in such a way that the texture and the look of my favorite food are consistent over time. PS: Check if Partricia is working when you visit. Her service is outstanding 👏
