Sunda Kitchen NJ is a true gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly balances modern charm with cozy comfort.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. We tried Tahu Goreng,Nasi Biru ,Bagado ,Bakso Cuankhi , and every bite was packed with authentic Indonesian flavors and fresh ingredients. The presentation was stunning, and you can tell the chefs take pride in their craft.

The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our server went above and beyond to make recommendations and ensure our dining experience was flawless.

The ambiance, combined with the excellent food and service, makes Sunda Kitchen NJ a must-visit spot. Whether you're planning a casual lunch or a special dinner, this place delivers on all fronts.

I work in town and just happened to drive past this restaurant the past couple of days. While perth amboy is known for its latin cuisine, there is not much for asian food other than your run of the mill chinese takeout spots When I saw South East Asian I was intriguied. Decided to try with the family the other night and was pleasantly surprised. They are still in the process of a soft opening, so be paitient if you go. The food was not only different, but VERY good. The staff was friendly and inviting and gave us some great suggestions to try for the first time. All the food was made fresh and very tasty. I look forward to returning again to try some other items on the menu. I can't say anything about its authenticity as there are no other Indonesian restaurants around really to compare to. They even have some Thai dishes that were just as good as any I have had from my favorite Thai spots. To top it all off it is in one of the historic buildings in Perth Amboy. Amazing terracotta work outside, Original Bar and Tin Ceilings inside! I wish them the best of luck, as this town needs more...

I recently visited this Indonesian restaurant and it truly impressed me with its amazing fried rice with chicken, delectable beef satay, and crispy fried tofu. The food was perfectly seasoned, the fried rice had the perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors, with tender chicken pieces and just the right amount of wok hei. The beef satay was tasty, with a rich peanut sauce that had a nice depth from a hint of spice. And the fried tofu? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired with a dipping sauce that added just the right kick.

Everything was cooked to perfection, and the flavors transported me straight to the streets of Indonesia. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who made the experience even better.
