Babs Brew — Restaurant in Peru

From a tourist standpoint as I am not from this state. Personally I think the beverages are good, it’s just the wait. If you have the patience like I do and plan ahead accordingly, then this spot is definitely for you. I do understand from what I’ve heard is that coffee shops are few far between in towns around here, which is humbling to hear. This company is still new and I see huge success with this company for years to come. Hopefully they can have their own building and a decent parking lot space as right now where they’re located is just not it. Sometimes people who order at the window get it faster than the drive thru which blows my mind. I’ve seen passengers in vehicles get out to order, get their order, get back in the vehicle and leave the line to exit the parking lot. Being from Pennsylvania, these kind of events do not happen at all whatsoever. Even as busy as it gets the wait is still under 10 minutes. The coffee here is very good in my opinion, not very sweet but enough to enjoy your tastebuds, especially with their cold foam. Would definitely come back here again giving them a 4 out of 5 because of their coffee, it’s just not getting the extra star because of the locations scenario. My family and I absolutely LOVE Babs Brew! The coffee drinks, matcha drinks, energy drinks are all amazing and delicious. However… something has to be done about how long it takes. I’d get it way more often if when I drove by there wasn’t 8-10 cars in line. I watch people who are in line leave all the time. A balance of speed and quality needs to be found so they can maximize their business. Often people who are stopping for coffee are doing so before work, or before a sporting event, or on a lunch break and don’t have time to wait 30+ minutes. It’s fair to say on average each car takes 3-5 minutes at the window, so if I’m the 5th car in line, I know I’m going to be sitting 10+ minutes, sometimes over 20 minutes. Again, the drinks are amazing and I wouldn’t wait if it wasn’t worth it, but I can’t give it 5 stars because of this. I can’t be alone when I say I would get Babs WAY more if this issue could...

This is one of the absolute best coffees I’ve ever had and definitely the best in the Valley!

I will change my rating to 5 stars when they update their order system. There have been more times when I just drive right past Babs because the line is too long. Each car takes them about 5 minutes to fill the order so if there are any more than 3 cars in line, I have to drive past it.

I’m from Portland, OR and they have a lot of these drive up only coffee shops. Most utilize some employees as “runners” to go take orders and take payments in line and then other employees stay in the shop to make coffees. It makes the line move much quicker. A respectful suggestion for your shop!
