Unfortunately, this was my first and last experience at Boardwalk. I had a pickup order 25-30 min wait time, but they had "lost" my grinder. This was discovered around 50-60 min after I placed my order. So I waited for a new one to be made 10-15 min more. The tots I ordered originally were cold & mushy, because they were made when with the original grinder and were just sitting out the whole time I was waiting for the replacement grinder to be made. I couldn't eat them. I was also missing some of the extra sauce I had ordered & paid for. Under normal circumstances not a big deal at all, but with everything else that went wrong it definitely did not help the situation. It would have been nice if they would have made the tots fresh with the new grinder so they could have been/would have been edible. It wasn't my fault half of my order was "lost". I would not recommend especially if you're planning to go there on your lunch break, because even if you call ahead & give them plenty of time there is still a good chance you'll have to wait a significant amount of time more than the quoted pickup time. Plus, the food quality just might not be there. Waste of...
Read moreHadn't been here in a while and stopped in today for a bite and to grab something for supper. They're 16 in subs are definitely more than enough for two meals. I got a Stromboli and barely was able to finish half of it. Was really glad I ordered the second though for supper. Also got a small salad and garlic bread with cheese. If you like really good bread for sandwiches or the garlic bread. This is definitely the place to go. All made in house and has a unique texture and flavor. That being said, I am not a big fan of their stromboli's. They aren't quite traditional in their making and I could do with a little less of their sauce. It's really good on the pizzas but on sandwiches it has a tendency to soggy them...
Read moreThe first time my friend and I went to eat there she asked about the veggie soup. They gave her a small cup to try before she ordered to see if she liked it which she did. I ordered a pizza which was awesome!! The uneaten pizza was in it's way to Wabash. Hubby didn't even warm it up. So it is great hot with the stringy cheese or on the cooler side. Second time we added bread sticks to the order. Best in town. Only problems I have is they don't aways deliver which sucks for us that can't drive. And they close too early. Almost forgot the staff must be on happy gas!! They are all smiles and super friendly. If you go there once you will...
