Should be the #1 Tourist Destination in Peru

Revamped by a married couple who preserve the legacy and the name, Club 14 is too legit to quit. Went in as a foursome and we each ordered something fantastic. From turkey ribs, to fried giblets, smoked wings and my selection a ribeye. Everything came out perfect and with heaping piles of sides. The food alone gets this place five stars.

The hospitality takes it to the next level. I left feeling friends with the owners, the staff and we even met some folks who were headed to the same place as us after the meal. We discovered all this out and the history of the place in our mere 45 minutes there.

Club 14 is everything restaurants and hospitality used to be and what we wished it still was. Not a greasy spoon, not a stuffy chef shack, but good food good folks for the right...

My husband has been stationed at the nearby reserve base for several years. Him and his friends have their regular places for lunch and dinner that they frequent, but I was in town with him so we tried some new places. The food at Club 14 was great, the prices were great and the service was even better! The side salad I got with my sandwich had more ingredients in it than most large salads I've seen. Denise, the owner, is a real jem. Tiffany, our server, was great, too. Another reviewer said it was like the "Cheers" bar, and they are correct. Very friendly group of people! The only thing I'm sad about is that we did not find this...

We live about 45 minutes away so this was not on our radar to eat here, but glad we did while passing though town. We sat outside and both of us had the brisket special. Just Wow!!!

They did NOT skimp on their brisket portions or their sides! The brisket is right up there with some of the best I've had. VERY tender, juicy and falls apart. It was not tough or dried out at all. All of our sides were very good also!

We'll definitely come this way again and stop here just for the food. We love finding new 'destination' places to eat and distance is not normally a big factor if it's really...
