Hank’s is truly a wonderful restaurant that you should go back to often to try everything on the menu! The family who owns this restaurant has such history in Sonoma County and absolutely wonderful.
Here’s what I have tried so far and each dish was phenomenal: Burrata, Meatballs, Ciotola di Gnocchi, Grandma Gina’s Gnocchi, and Calabrese Pizza.
Grandma’s Gnocchi is an original family recipe so do try it. Melt in your mouth! The pizza dough has lots of love put into it via one of the owners and seriously, one of the best doughs around. The Calabrese salami is from the owner’s hometown in Italy. They either fly there to go get it or work with a vendor to get it for their pizza so this is a must try!
I mustn’t forget the espresso martinis! 🍸 really good and they make it two ways, so you will have to try it both ways to find your preference!

Read moreMargarita pizza was 10/5! A wonderful start to our dinner. The cheese was amazing, and the crust was thin and crispy. Simple yet full of flavor! Chicken fettuccini was 2/5. It was super bland with no flavor whatsoever, and the chicken was dry. Would not recommend. Seafood pasta was 3/5. I really didn't like having sausage in this dish, though that might just be my personal preference. The salmon was also bland. The sauce was very tasty and the rest of the ingredients were nice. A glass of Sparkling Rosé was good but very dry ( it did say dry on the menu, I guess I just didn't expect it to be that dry ). Our server Mark was very friendly and attentive. He checked on us often. Seating was quick and the food came out in pretty much no time. Overall, stick to the pizza and you won't miss out. The rest of the food wasn't particularly...
Read moreLast year I had the best pizza of my life a few times at a restaurant in Spain owned by a family from northern Italy.
I haven’t had pizza in the US since then as I worried nothing would compare. A friend of mine recently recommended Hank’s for pizza so we decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the pizzas were. The toppings they use are definitely high quality ingredients - the meats, cheese & seasonings were top of the line.
We tried the Meat pizza & the Koburrata pizza. Both were great, but if you prefer “savory-only” toppings, I suggest you stick with the meat pizza. I don’t usually like sweet flavors on my savory pizzas but the Calabrian chili honey was an interesting element.
We are definitely going back & want to try some of...
