I connect with a friend regularly at the Bagel Mill for brunch & after local hikes (Mt. Monadnock is close by) . This friendly, clean and comfortable rustic eat-in bakery features lots of windows to enjoy the sunshine or snow, and cafe tables surroud an inviting wood stove. There's just enough ambient conversations and upbeat staff interaction to be energizing without interfering in your own experience. I ordered an everything bagel, cream cheese, lochs filets & tomato. Perfect. Compared to DD microwaved breakfast sandwhich$3.50, Im delighted to pay$6-7 for Bagel Mill's generous portions, a plethora of fresh menu choices, quality food sourcing & tantalizing coffee flavors. Ample parking.

We were on the road and getting hungry. I was looking for a good place to stop for a sandwich, and we found it! The bagel mill was perfect. We each enjoyed a fresh made sandwich on the bagel of our choosing, and sat outside to eat. The bagel was so good I bought some for the road.

Chill little spot to pick up a bagel. Lots of options and they’re pretty good! Coffee isn’t special but it’s a nice little stop if you’re in the area. They have WiFi and outlets and the WiFi is fast enough to work online

This place needs a complete overhaul. I went here recently and my experience was SO disappointing. Bagel Mill has really gone downhill from what it used to be especially the bagels themselves. I went in with my dad around 11:00 AM and right off the bat things did not start well. Many bagels were sold out or low in stock, how could this be ? why are the bagels not properly stocked and it's not even midday yet ? The girl taking our order was not very nice and when my dad tried to order something that they didn't have on the menu anymore she cut him off and was like "um we don't have that." and so we were kind of just like "okay ...." and continued ordering. Then the next problem, the staff is very disorganized, and I mean very. The girl who took our order stopped taking orders then started making a bagel, but it wasn't an order she was making no, she was making it for herself and then walked away to some other room for several minutes. No one else was taking orders at the moment until someone else stepped in but it caused people in line to wait longer than usual. It appeared that they were making orders out of order, which further proves that operations there are disfunctional. The food was also being made in a microwave but the way things were being done was so disorganized that food was getting put back in the microwave multiple times I found this to be dissatisfying because I thought this was a real breakfast sandwich place. And the bagels themselves are truly not what they used to be, a new recipe (one with more salt for sure) is needed IMMEDIATELY I'm not even joking. The wait time had my dad and I questioning whether or not we wanted to stay to actually receive our bagels. It took 25 minutes for our bagel breakfast sandwiches to be ready and we only ordered three, that is too long of a wait in my opinion. The only positive part of the experience was that when the order was ready the girl who gave it to me (different girl) did so with a smile and she made sure everything was in the bag and that my order was correct, so for that I will give a few brownie points. However, other than that, I unfortunately do not have any highlights to note, it really was a poor experience. I may be only 21, but even I can tell that this business needs some serious changing. I hope others will heed my warning and not visit this establishment until major improvements are made. I hope Bagel Mill can become good bagel shop...

I'm not one to write negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience today wasn't the first negative one I've had here recently. There seems to be a lack of management here now. When I went in today there were two younger kids making the bagels who clearly didn't know what they were doing at all, and the poor girl at the register was trying her best, but was obviously overwhelmed. I know how difficult it is to find decent help these days, which is why it is so important for management to take the time to thoroughly train the staff they do have. I have been going to the Bagelmill since it opened, and sadly after my most recent experiences I don't think I'll be wasting my time going in very often. I'm not one to complain about the presentation of my food, but when you can barely eat your bagel because the cream cheese is globbed on and makes a huge mess when you try to eat it it takes away from the quick grab- and- go breakfast experience that you would expect from a place like the Bagelmill. Hopefully a little extra training with the staff will bring Bagelmill back to what it used to be because it is a shame that the quality has changed so much in the past...

Well, I am in the area for a week of relaxing visiting a friend. Decided to go here for some coffee and use my laptop. As I do many times in NYC and other places around the country. This place is the first coffee house that told me that my stay of 1:30 was to long due to reserve tables for regular customers. "Regular Customers" what!! At a coffee house offering free Wi-Fi.. Did not know that I had to make reservations, and what constitute a regular customer since I just spent $10.00. I was outrage with the owner coming over to my table and mentioning this to me, and how I did not read the folded piece of paper on the table. Which was on the floor when I got there. This was my last visit to this coffee house, and my friend also will no longer visit. Now, being a minority hopefully would not have anything to do with this event in...
