Ava Marie Chocolates — Restaurant in Peterborough

As a nearby Dublin resident in high school, Ava's has been a major part of my life, it has been the first thought when we go for ice cream which has always been delicious. But now it's so much worse, it has moved to a shopping plaza which is terrible. There's no river to watch while I eat and the exhaust fumes from the cars are not an enjoyable smell to have while eating ice cream. The new location is completely out of the way with us having to plan to get to Ava's instead of just stopping by at a whim. There is almost no seating, both indoors and outdoors, the old Ava's had room for plenty while this new location has a total of six chairs.The ice cream is still delicious but there are less options for not only ice cream but also the entire store, which is a tragedy. I have loved Ava's for my entire life but now it no longer brings me the joy to think of visiting it...

Just stopped in on our way through and so glad we did. First of all, this is a nice and tidy shop. The selection was vast and the young lady behind the counter was very helpful and very polite. We purchased a few chocolates and I had to try the ice cream. Wow, am I sure glad I did. Some of the best I’ve ever had! To wrap this up. Clean, tidy, good service, great selections and very delicious. You need to try this to satisfy your cravings and need for something sweet. Update: we purchased a chocolate peanut butter whoopi pie and that too was amazing and unlike any that we’ve ever had. The cake was dense, moist and delicious. The peanut butter filling was not too sweet and very rich and also satisfying. A perfect combination that was crafted...

My family and I visit New Hampshire often and love to visit different areas of the state. In June we happened by Peterborough and some quaint shops. One of those shops was Ava Marie Chocolates. We are great chocolate lovers and this shop was a great find. They have wonderful ice cream and a great atmosphere that allows patient shopping and a great staff that are super helpful. The selection is really interesting and I loved the warm and friendly nature of the staff. I tried about three ice cream flavors before finally settling on the best maple walnut.
