Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Phenix City

Ok everybody, I'm glad this review request came up. I've been coming to this Church's Chicken for years . I'm always pleased with all the staff and food . Even when theres a wait like tonight when a selfish person makes a big order in drive thru knowing it's going to hold it up because there too dam lazy to go inside like normal ,good people do or tries to give these sweet dear ladies a hard time ! And wine like children! Ok ok dont get me started !! Now back to this review , you can't ask for a better trained staff who you just want to hug because they work very hard and truly care about you and the food you eat . Now for all those people who always cant stop long enough to be happy for good food !! And be thankful !! You just need to look in the mirror and count how many people you see ! It will just be your ugly a** ! For all you good dear people who thank the staff ,even if theres a small wait , you know good food takes time , right ? Then thank you from my heart . Okay so last night I went here and order 8 piece mix meal along with additional sides which came to be $43.18 before the cashier finish cashing me out she told me there would be a 15 to 20 min wait on white me which I was fine with me because I love my wings and breast. Okay 20 minutes done went by and remind you I have another customer in front of me waiting on white meat as well. So the cashier proceed to tell the cook he didn't cook enough white and that she needed more. So she tells me it's going to be another 20 mins so the manager comes up says she can give all dark meat instead I asked her if I would get some money back since I wasn't going to receive any white meat she said no okay cool I asked for a refund she only tried to give me some of my money back and not all of it. The manager was very rude and unprofessional and it's sad because I'm also a manager of fast food restaurant. I see why they can't keep workers I been coming to this location since I was little girl I was born and raised in phenix City Alabama and to see this restaurants ran by someone like her is a very disappointment will not...

The chicken fingers, French fries & the jalapeño poppers were fresh & quite tasty. 😋 However, my wife ordered the chicken sandwich, which had a burnt taste to it & the meat had a dark color to it which should have been white in color like the chicken strips. We were traveling on a schedule to get to the Atlanta Airport, so we had it to go. We didn't have time to turn around, so my wife took the chicken off the bun and ate the bun instead. That was the only thing that could have been better...Cashier could have been friendlier, afterall; it's paying customers like myself that actually pay her salary. Without them she wouldn't have a job to go to... My wife was in restaurant management for a number of years and that's the one of many things she stressed, SATISFIED CUSTOMERS + GOOD QUALITY FOOD + FRIENDLY STAFF & GOOD SERVICE + CLEAN STORE & RESTROOMS = REPEAT CUSTOMERS ,meaning that you have a job to come to and get paid...Here's the chicken from the sandwich and one if the chicken strips.
