Culver's — Restaurant in Phenix City

Before I even begin, the only reason why I haven't put below a three star is because the food is actually pretty decent. However, in spite of that, I've been here multiple times, and almost every time I go, there's something that gets messed up. Whether that be my order or just the timliensss of how long it takes to receive my order. The amount of times I have ordered from here, and the amount of times they've gotten my order wrong is almost equal. For example, I'll order a chocolate concrete mixer with two mix ins, and somehow they come back with a vanilla concrete mixer with two mix ins that aren't even close to the ones I asked for. Or today's instance: I ordered a concrete mixer online for curbside. I clicked the "I'm here" option three times in three different ways— through the website, email, and text message. Yet for some reason, it took me sitting in my car for 25 minutes after I had already arrived, getting out of the car which defeats the whole purpose of curbside within itself, walking in and having to say to the staff that I ordered for curbside. At first, it was, "We didn't receive your order through the system." So I show them the confirmation email showing that I did, in fact, order something online at that location. Of course, suddenly they knew exactly what I was talking about, and then thought it'd be a great idea to mention how they had noticed me sitting out there for a good bit just waiting. I don't know if it really is their system that's messed up and needs some updating/tuning or if it's just that the staff needs to be a little more attentive of the orders they receive online, but either way, tonight, and almost every other excursion I've taken to this specific location has most definitely not been up to par. I would not recommend going to this location to anyone I know. I'd rather take the trip to Columbus, GA or Auburn, AL before...

Culver's has the broadest menu selection of any quick service restaurant that I've ever been to. And, best of all, everything tastes authentic and true to its roots. So rather you're looking for a simple cheeseburger kids meal; or an authentic Rueben sandwich, or just about anything in between, you can order with confidence knowing that you're food will be made fresh to order using wholesome ingredients and an authentic recipe. Top your meal off with Culver's proprietary home made custard, and you'll have a hard time believing that your food was generated from a quick service establishment! And the staff is impeccably trained to happily serve - no eye rolls or heel dragging with this crew. They are beyond polite, authentic, and sincerely interested in providing their guests with five star service. Finally, any Culver's in any state that I've ever visited is nicely appointed and squeaky clean. Straight up, I would eat at Culver's every day of I could. And you know what? The selection is so great that it would probably be a month before I are the same thing twice! PS: If you've never had authentic custard, you may find yourself enjoying it as much, and perhaps more than, the best gourmet ice cream that you've ever had. If you're fortunate enough to run across a Culver's, consider giving it a try. I am confident that you will enjoy your did and visit at what I affectionately refer to as, 'The Cheesecake Factory of Quick Service Restaurants'. There's something on their menu for almost anyone! I don't go into Phenix City too often but the last two times passing through i have stopped here. The first time, I was moving furniture, and we stopped to grab take out on the way back home. Even after a 25 minute ride back to the house, the food was still warm and delicious.

I had a simple butterburger with cheese, and their buns are very light and fluffy with a delicious buttery after taste. The meat is tender and juicy, with very fresh toppings. The fries are crisp and delicious, not too greasy. I even bought some of their fresh frozen custard. The custard is so smooth and all the flavors I've had so far are delightful!

The second time I stopped, I was determined to sit inside and eat something fresh and hot instead of making that 25 minute trip home. This time I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings (and of course more custard lolol!). The mushroom Swiss had all the classic flavors of this burger, and wasn't too salty like some fast food restaurants can be. The onion rings were amazing, cooked perfectly and I paired them with the ranch dipping sauce and omg! Fantastic to a "T"!

I would highly suggest this place to anyone who enjoys a really good burger. You can also tell they keep the place very clean and everything is spaced out and respectful of the new covid rules and conditions. Dont...
