Super friendly owner despite the language barrier. Atmosphere is subdued and minimal. Excellent food. I love all their curries and soups. The spice level is on a 3 star system and if you order anything above a 2 expect to be crying. The prices are fair as well. Overall my personal favorite Thai restaurant in the Phenix City/Columbus area. On a fun/silly note: They keep a TV playing Thai music videos in one corner and another showcasing food from around the world in the other. It can be entertaining to watch what comes up on either one. You can also get an entire green coconut as a drink!

Very clean place. I ordered the choo chee salmon and spring rolls. I ate the spring rolls b4 I was able to take a picture but they were hot and delicious. The choo chee salmon was good as well it came with a good coconut milk sauce on it, rice and broccoli. Very good but the portion wasn't enough for $25 I don't think.

Hidden gem. Looks like a hole in the wall. Clean dining area. Fast and polite service. Authentic and delicious food. Since leaving Chattanooga and missing Rain Thai Bistro, I've finally found a local place in Phenix City for the monthly visits here in town.

If you're looking for buffet quality food then this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for traditional fried salty plates, move along. Want amazingly authentic Thai or need something new? This is it.

The first week my husband and I discovered this little gem we came back 3 times. The week after that we brought all of our friends. We've had almost everything on the menu and there isn't a lemon in the bunch, but we still have our favorites.

Looking to splurge? The salmon is flaky and the sauce pairs beautifully with the rice. You may want extra rice just so you can finish the sauce.

The pineapple fried rice with tofu is out of this world. The pineapple bits catch the spices and hold onto them and become a burst of flavor when you bite into it. And the tofu passes easily for chicken.

Our favorite is the drunken noodles, but they're best enjoyed right away as the noodles will eventually stick together as they cool down. One star is a pleasant heat that makes any cold feel better.

Thai dumplings are easily the best appetizer on the menu: six comes to an order and while they may not look like much, the little packages of joy with the sauce on them are a sampler of your food to come. If you're not that adventurous, or your friends refuse to try something new then the cheese sticks are a new spin on an old classic.

Like iced tea and want to live a little? Thai iced tea is the way to go. It is not your usual lipton tea with a pound of sugar.

The food is simplistic in its ingredients but complex in flavors and textures so if you're looking to expand your horizons or are already a thai food junky you need to come try this place. Even better you're supporting a mom and pops place where mom is in the back making the deliciousness you're about to devour and pops is up front...

I went with a friend. We got the catfish appetizer, shrimp red curry, and fried tofu red curry. I asked the server to please tell them to not over cook the shrimp. Well, the shrimp was overcooked and tough and the curries were cold. When the server came to refill our drinks she asked how the everything was. I told her the food wad cold. She said “okay” and just walked away. I would have thought she would offer to take the curries back and at least warm them up. It seemed as if the tofu was just taken out of the refrigerator and put into a bowl of lukewarm curry. Many times when you go to a restaurant people tell you be careful the plate is hot, but here the plate was ice cold. I’m not sure if they store their plates in a refrigerator or something which makes the food cool down before it arrives at the table, but the tofu seemed like it came straight out of the refrigerator. Perhaps they fried it earlier that day or another day and just put it into the curry. We will...

There are some places that just give you consistency. Places where you go and go again and it’s always good. Thai Thai is that restaurant for me. I have tried lots of different Things on their menu. But too many times to count over the last 5 years I have had Thai Thai’s: Pad Thai, Larb, drunken noodles, red, green and Massuman curry, spring roles, cheese roles, papaya salad, and house fried rice. Each one was tasty in a way that only Thai Thai is able to make. Even their fried rice tastes unique and good compared to any other Thai restaurant. No other restaurant around can replace it for me. You may need to get 2 dishes to satisfy you, but at these prices I found I can certainly afford it. 5/5 will keep going...
