Asian Bamboo House — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Horrible Customer service!! I asked the Rep to deliver the food instead of just saying "its too far for us to deliver" she decided to say you're calling the wrong place we never have done orders for you which confused me cause I've ate here multiple times. She said please call the right number I googled again and ordered she said stop calling we're not the location you want which made no sense cause i work on the same street as the restaurant. Then my coworker called to ask if we can just do pick up, the rep yelled at her saying we're busy and you keep calling. stop calling we dont deliver to you and my coworker said this is a pickup order and she said no its the wrong place I don't know why she thought we were calling the wrong place. I got so mad that i told her just take the order im picking it up and she said "i'll only start making your order once you come in because a lot of people order and not show up." I said excuse me?? I will not wait to get there to get my order made please have it ready. I got to the place to pick up my order and let her have it!!!!

I told another friend about the horrible service here and she said "OH! did you not know they're racist" and i was confused. she said they only give good service to Caucasian customers she's actually watched them do it repeatedly. It's good food BUT DEFINITELY WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE OR YOU MAY NOT BE...

I found this restaurant a few years ago. Wonderful atmosphere for an Asian/ Chinese establishment in N.E. Philadelphia. The Chinese food is by far some of the best I've had period! Always very flavorful and prepared with great care. You can tell the chefs love what they do... I highly recommend

Unfortunately, I must change my review about this restaurant. The last two times I ordered, they got my order wrong. One time I ordered egg foo young. The egg foo young was the worst I ever had. I usually ask very specifically to have mine cooked well done. It was not even close to being well done. This time, I placed a relatively large order. Most of the order was correct but I always order hot and sour soup but they sent wonton soup to me. They need to do better with taking orders and getting the orders correct. I'm reducing my four star or five star...

It’s the little things that count and small acts of customer appreciation goes a long way. I always order from this place. They have the best Asian food in Philadelphia in my opinion so when I say I always order from this place, I can actually show you my bank statement And when I do order I spend over $40 every time so this time my order was over $20 and they have a $10 minimum for card spending. I have forgot to add on spicy oil which is only a dollar and because I didn’t have cash the young lady at the cash register who rings me up all the time Would not give me a hot oil so like I said, it’s the small things that count that go along way small acts of customer appreciation and I’m slightly disappointed that they wouldn’t give me to get a spicy oil just for one time on the house.
