Wawa — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I just returned from your Northeast Philadelphia 9440 State Rd store where I experienced the rudest most discourteous attitude from two clerks I've ever had in any WaWa. I put an order in at the kiosk and couldn't print it because the housing with the paper was pulled apart. I moved to the next kiosk and told the two behind the counter who only grinned and laughed about it, one sarcastically saying it didn't sound like it was the machine. Neither of them came out to take a look until I repeated the problem and asked them again. Then one came around and fixed it and when I asked him why he implied I was the problem he said he didn't, sarcastically smiling, grinning and laughing the whole time. I told the cashier and she directed me to the manager who I told and he called the one clerk into the back area, the guy was still smiling, laughing, grinning and I said "I hope you get fired" to which he replied - while being led away by the manager - "I do too". As I picked up my sandwich, the one who remained behind the counter grinned at me with a delighted look on his face. I asked if he thought it was funny and he said "yes I do" grinning and smiling the whole time. I've been a regular customer of that WaWa for over 30 years and have never gotten such rude discourteous treatment from staff accompanied by a delighted demeanor as if they were enjoying my dissatisfaction as a customer. I've always been impressed with WaWa staff until today - what are you training now? that it's ok to treat customers obnoxiously and laugh about it? why are you hiring people who loudly announce, after treating a customer badly, that they WANT to be...

I shop at Wawa just about everyday . It has a large selection of food , sandwiches to order , are always fresh .They have cold ones and made to order . The hot ones are very good ,add a bag of chips and a Pepsi and your good to go .They have a great dinner menu they serve after 4 pm . Store is always clean and stocked . Wheelchair accessible . Parking is available ,and well lite . Public transportation is also close , the 84 bus is right outside . Please wear masks for everyones safety .They except food stamps ,cash and credit Cigarette coupons excepted PNC ATM in WaWa . Today while I was in the store it was busy , but the check out lane was moving pretty quick . Everyone was wearing masks . People were 6 ft apart ,as they should be . The machine with the scratch off tickets was pretty busy . The ice cream freezer had new flavors . Both ATM's were working which is always the way on the 1st and the 3rd of the month. They have many different foods that are new and people order all the time . As always the employees were friendly and helpful . The store was very clean inside and out in the parking lot . I am giving this particular wawa five stars this evening because of the fabulous customer service of one Ms Raelynn.

I live across the street from this wawa, they have my business cornered with little to no effort, but today Ms Raelynn showed up like the glorious unicorn savior she is.

It has come to light that Klondike has discontinued the beloved choco taco. When I stopped here for smokes today I went to check if there were any left. There was one lonely choco taco pinned between the cage and freezer. Then with a lustrous glow Ms Raelynn emerged from the back, "Ms Raelynn, can you help me?" I asked the angel. "There's a choco taco back there, I don't want to mess with your stuff but they discontinued it." She, up to the task, wiggled that grate around and rescued the choco taco from the back of the freezer.

Thank you Ms Raelynn, I've consumed hundreds of choco tacos over the course of my childhood and you helped me make sure I got one last one.
