Bentoulis Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

If I could give a 0 star review, I would. I ordered a pizza and fries for delivery and paid for the food via card prior to receiving it. After an hour of waiting - I called to check the progress of the order. They let me know that a delivery driver was on his way with the order(I live 3 mins away). I wait 35 more mins then call again to check progress the cashier answers the phone and tells me that the order had been delivered to a child at my address. I let her know that I never received it and she told me that what I said ‘makes no sense’ because he was paid when he delivered. Instantly, I realized she was lying because as I mentioned at the start of the review (I paid with my card). I accuse them of lying about delivering my food and I point out that another customer mentioned the same issue on another review. And the cashier told me that the owner of the company instructed her to send another driver out to knock on my door and be sure that i’m not lying. They never came - after being completely frustrated with it the cashier’s customer service and the fact that I never received my food. I let them know that I wouldn’t settle for anything less than a refund. I gave them my card number for the refund and was let know that it would take approximately 24hrs to receive it. I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. Neither tall enough to even reach the doorknob. Unfair...

Just unbelievable lived here my whole life been ordering from the old owners when it was Jimmy's old London almost twice a week figured I'd get the family some food trying this place out and get told I have to come in because my number is not in there system what an absolute joke I'm mad because I have never been treated like that it's ok I should just stick with my usual places like the saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it. I know Jimmy's is gone because I would have been able to order if they were there I was trying to give you guys a go but was told no I so I'll just stick with Johnny's I love how you try to justify every bad review not a single bad review is honest right lol they are all lying and out to get you I personally can't say if they are lying or not SINCE I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO ORDER I also noticed about 5 or 6 other people with the same issue as me its a joke of a system if you are worried about fake address and stuff like that you should do what the Chinese store does you take the name and number and call them back with a total 2 mins later no1 trying anything stupid will use...

Not sure why this place got great reviews? Food was gross, $30 wasted 🤮

Edited in order to respond to owner’s reply I understand that you obviously have strong feelings about the quality of your food but you might want to learn the proper way to respond to reviews, that would probably go a long way in helping to ensure repeat business from new customers that had a less than desirable first experience. That being said allow me to elaborate on the reason for my review. What I failed to include in my first review was the attitude of the young lady answering the phone, she was rude, not going to elaborate other than that as I’m sure it’s a complaint you’ve heard before. The food was downright disgusting. It was greasy and unappetizing at first sight and tasted just as bad as it looked. I also asked for very little cheese and instead received a pizza covered in it and due to its rubbery and greasy quality it was near impossible to just pull off. Again, I spent $30 on it and took one bite and threw the rest away. I stand by my original review and would never order again, especially based on the...
