Tried the pizza here; it was decent. Got a basic two-topping pizza.
Definitely worth a try, but nothing particularly special; cheese and sauce were good, decent distribution of toppings, and overall solid taste.
Pizza wasn't cut through all the way which was a bit annoying but nothing too crazy. The edge crust was a bit overdone which isn't really to my personal liking. The pizza was a bit more oily than I'd prefer but nothing bad, definitely have had worse. I would say I feel like the price is a tiny bit higher than I think it should be, but that's speaking as someone who lived in the Midwest where all restaurant food of similar or better quality is a good $2 to $6 cheaper than a big city, so realistically, it's a fair price.
I ordered online which gave me a 5% discount. The service was simple for carry-out but felt a bit cold so-to-speak; felt like I got a weird look from a staff member for walking in but honestly didn't care much. Otherwise, straight-forward and basic, nothing bad.
The interior of the place seemed clean, but not remarkable; no complaints.
I might come here again since it's close to where I live, but I generally have had pizzas I prefer the quality of from other places, so I wouldn't call Celebre's my first choice. That said, it's alright all-in-all; nothing that will blow your mind, but definitely a satisfying option that can be worth...
Read moreIf you want good pizza with a side of ATTITUDE this is the perfect place. I drove from lower bucks with my family only to be embarrassed by the service.
Apparently, When ordering pizza your suppose to know whether your going to eat in or out, because you aren’t told over the phone your options !
The level of hostility I got from the staff was uncalled for, I asked if they accepted Apple Pay, and the cashier answered in a passive remark. Really, a no would have been enough.
As I made my way to pay for the pizza, I grabbed a soda, only to be met with dirty looks from the cashier and waitress.
Apparently, they have rules against buying a drink and drinking it inside.
In all fairness, the cashier explained they have waiters serving the tables. They real problem is that they assumed we are mind readers and it was just uncomfortable. Great pizza, but I won’t...
