T & N Homemade Kitchen — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Oh my goodness what a cool little old school neighborhood greasy spoon complete with owner (I think it was the owner) telling corny jokes. Apparently this is the home base of the ‘Jeet’ food truck. I was in South Philly so I got the cheese steak Italian, seeded roll, broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. According to my daughter, Karly I'm the only person in the world that didn't know sharp provolone had such a distinctive taste. I am still not sure if I'm a broccoli rabe fan but this broccoli rabe had a lot of flavor. Sorry but I could only give this cheesesteak a score of 89. It was full of flavor and I now completely understand how people can be happy sitting around eating a seeded roll and provolone cheese but it was $11 and it just needs to be bigger and the meat has to improve. Does broccoli rabe always have the more stalk than leafing parts? Very good overall experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back...

Honestly, the worst experience I ever had visiting this homemade kitchen. I should of known from the beginning it was going to be upsetting. I called to place the order, the first time; someone picked up asked for my name and hung up. I dialed again, it was picked up and hung up again. This repeated like 3 times. Finally get to talk to someone and order two signatures dishes they have; French toast bacon and eggs scrambled with cheese. Ok 15 it’ll be ready. We go to pickup, and we see that there’s no bacon. That’s fine people mess up, understandable. It was how the staff handled it and treated the situation that upsets me. Extremely rude and unpleasant staff. Young girls just looking around smirking and clearly does not want to be there. Treated me like I did something wrong and made me feel out of place. Thankful the food is constantly good. But don’t think its worth the disrespectful...

I wish there were a way to not give any stars at all! This food looks absolutely disgusting. It was so bad I wouldn’t even eat it. The food was cold when I received it. It took over an hour for my food to get to me. This establishment is literally 7 minutes away from my home. I ordered what they are calling “Steak and Eggs” this looks like dog food. I also ordered home fries and you can clearly see that there are more peppers than there are potatoes. The tots that I ordered are also burnt. Finally, the customer service sucks! Once I received my food I called the establishment to tell them that I wasn’t satisfied and I would like a refund “the manager” preceded to yell and tell me that they wouldn’t give me a refund and then hung up on me. I called again asking to speak to the owner and he also hung up on me. I spend $30 on food that I couldn’t eat. Please do not...
