My experience was very poor with everything. Let’s start with the service. The lady who works the register was so unfriendly, had a rude demeanor, and unhelpful with taking our order. She literally only said one word which was the total of our bill. Is she like this all the time or was there something off about her this day? Now onto the food. We ordered the Veggie Mordeno pizza which came to $15. My friend and I sat outside as we waited patiently. When our pizza arrived about 25 mins later, I noticed something wrong right off the bat. The cheese wasn’t melted all the way after taking a first bite, it wasn’t hot. The pizza was not cooked all the way, nor were there enough of the toppings. It didn't taste great either. It seemed like a sloppy job that they put together in less than 10 mins trying to rush it out. It was bad and I wanted to say something but I was with my friend who didn’t say anything and I was starving so I just sucked it up and kept eating. Food was a major disappointment. And for $15? Wow. ATTN Management: If you read this, please make sure your employees treat customers with kindness and make sure they send the pizza fully cooked. Thank you.

On our 14th date, my sweetheart joined me in meeting friends at the Chestnut Hill Brewing Company to hear a couple of musicians playng Brazilian music in the outdoor patio. This is a great place to go with a group - more people = more food to sample. Between the 7 of us we shared 2 pizzas and a couple of veggie appetizers. My sweetheart ordered an IPA. I was certain that the only beers I didn't like were IPAs but he selected one that tasted refreshingly like grapefruit. This was the beginning of my conversion. Anyway, the music was great (thank you Rob Curda), the food was great, the company was great. My friends later told me that they enjoyed my sweetheart's laugh as much as I do. Then my sweetheart ordered some fries. The fries were delicious, but later in the evening I developed a belly-ache.. Not a good look, but that's when I discovered that my sweetheart is a regular Boy Scout. In addition to always having a small flash hand on hand (helpful when I'm walking the dog at night), he always has a supply of Tums, Pepcid, Tylenol and Advil on the ready.

Chestnut Hill Brewing is an essential pizza place on the avenue. It is tucked away in the heart of the neighborhood, off the main road. We have gone many times for dinners with family and friends. When we decided to have an engagement party we knew Chestnut Hill Brewing Co needed to be where it was held. The food is always delicious, the space is gorgeous, and the staff are incredible. Kind, communicative, courteous, accommodating, and helpful. From finding us an extra table cover, to serving our guests, to checking in with us, to being temporary photographers for group shots— staff are truly the best. We held about 60 people in their patio space off to the left and it was very roomy with plenty of seating and standing options and it did not feel crowded at all. Would highly recommend you have your next event or next dinner/lunch out at the Chestnut Hill Brewing Company!

Great atmosphere. Food was excellent. I would be leaving a one star review had it not been for Josh and Trey from the back of house. They were absolutely amazing, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a perfect night out. After being in the restaurant industry for 15+ years, earning an associates degree in hospitality management, and being a restaurant manager myself, I would not recommend my server to anyone who visits. As a first timer, if it weren't for Trey and Josh, I would definitely NOT return. Farrah was beyond horrible. ASK AND MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE HER!!!!!! Farrah did not refill waters that Trey had to, and asked us to leave after paying our bill and receiving her tip. All while my food was still in front of me that I was still enjoying. Farrah stated that she wanted her table for other guests. Not to mention she took forever to greet the table next to us. The place was not busy and she was by no means in the weeds. I wasn't aware that after paying, we were no longer paying guest in her eyes. To her we were guests who paid and needed to leave immediately. I also watched her get fed a cookie by another restaurant employee in the front of house. I felt rushed the whole time and was there for under an hour. I hadn't seen my friend in 7 months, and was on my way back to Maryland after attending a funeral in New York. Farrah went out of her way to ask if my friend wanted her salad dressing light, medium or heavy. My friend responded, asking for the dressing on the side. Her salad came out dressing on. Seemed for a minute like Farrah cared. Turns out she only cared about the money she was receiving for the evening. Not the service she was giving us at all. Overall, if it were up to me, Farrah would no longer be working in my restaurant. Her behavior was very unprofessional, rude and disgusting to...

This is such a great addition to the Chestnut Hill Brewing Company pizza and beer spot already within the Market at the Fareway. You can find it in the former Green Soul, but the ambience is much more homey and intimate. The taproom is a great fit for several occasions... an early family dinner (that was us), a cozier setting for a date night, drinks with a few coworkers, or a midday lunch with friend(s). The service is very fast and even more friendly, when we arrived the place seemed packed but the hostess got us to a table immediately and within 15 minutes we had ordered and my kids were already eating pizza.

It's also nice because the taproom serves salads and pastas as well. My mom got a delish fall salad, and I plan to try the pastas next time (I am a pizza fan at my core). The owners are super attentive and helpful to their staff and customers. They don't just walk around asking patrons how things are going, they are clearing plates, serving food, welcoming people in the door, and one of them even saw me wandering around looking for the bathroom and asked if I needed help then directed me where to go. (Sidenote: LOVE the bathrooms. You can always tell a good place by their bathrooms.)

I highly recommend and can't wait to go back. CH Brewing seems to change their menu a good amount given the seasons, I'm excited to see what's to come. Congrats on...

I been many times and keep going back for the great beer, food, and service. Nick is one of the best brewers in the region hands down. High standard of quality for food with always a look towards making it better. If there is ever a problem with anything aspect of your visit, every attempt is always made to make it right. Few businesses I seen have such dedicated and attentive owners. Some of the best bartenders and servers around as well as a great chef and kitchen staff. I am pretty picky when it comes to all of these areas but my expectations are almost always met right away and often surpassed. Great outdoor space with fire and water feature plus beautiful plantings. Also dog friendly. Small bar in market area and the taproom has lovely creative seating. Even the bathrooms received careful attention in design and are not to be missed. A bit more about the beer...always well balanced and true to the many different styles brewed there. The NEIPA is one of the very best around. Sometimes I'll check out a new brewery in the area and always stop by here afterward to compare and this place is always the clear winner. If you go I doubt you'll be disappointed. My guess is like me, you'll be returning...
