Chestnut Hill Brewing Company Taproom — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Just wanted to write about our wonderful meal service and experience Sunday night in the taproom. The host was welcoming and nice. Our server bill was awesome. He should train everyone! The bar tender was spunky & wonderful as always. Also shout out to Alex, GM. He was fantastic and super personable. Very attentive to our table and everyone else. We were so excited to see him since we frequently visited his prior restaurant. He was an all star there and know he will be at CHB. It’s really nice to eat at a location where the staff is positive, friendly and supportive of each other.

The food was also amazing per usual. It’s such a great find as a vegetarian with options for my husband as well. We both tried new dishes and an app and we were in heaven.

Lastly, In addition to the staff and the food, the atmosphere is (healthy) really lovely. It is so laid back and comfortable. The music is always great which is an added bonus. We always love going but especially this time inside the taproom (maybe bc we didn’t have to share...

The “best” pizza in NW Philly! Featuring a wood burning oven plus gourmet ingredients matched with curated cheese selections that enhance each carefully selected topping. Unlike most pizza restaurants, they don’t use the generic “pizza cheese” blend used by commercial chain restaurants.

Additionally, adding to their “always available” choices, seasonal specials in pizza toppings are available based on ingredients that reach their peak flavor in selected months - with these “specials” available only when the time is right.

Chestnut Hill Brewery also makes their own craft beer - also offering rotating flavor profiles at different times of the year.

One of my new favorite spots for a beer and a bite to eat! Waited way too long to give this place a try, but now that I have, I am hooked! As a beer-loving vegan, this place feels like a dream come true for me! The number of plant-based menu items is so luxurious, and the quality of the food is top notch! The forager pizza with an array of tasty mushrooms and black garlic aioli has become a point of food obsession in my household, and all the small plates are just exactly the kind of satisfying comfort food that you want to be munching on paired with a flight of beer.
