I live up the street from Chase's Hop Shop. I love it there. The food is good and they have nice beer of the month specials. Also, you can earn stars from purchases of $10 or more and if you get 10 stars, you get $5 off of your next purchase of $10 or more. Everyone is friendly. Frank, the owner, and everyone else who works there is more than willing to help you make a decision on beer or food. He also has a Nintendo 64 there that people actually play. I usually see his kids playing Mario Kart with other neighborhood kids. Chase’s Hop Shop is a gem in the area of 5 Points. We ordered the spicy cheese burger cheese fries, double fried garlic Parmesan wings, with drinks. So I wanted to add an alcoholic beverage, I saw a variety of IPA’s, noticed several of domestic beers and they have these slushy drinks that has 8-10% alcohol. The slushy was tasty and packed a nice punch.
