10/10/24 had the chance to have lunch at the Quaker Diner and it was so very good. Their menu now has specials which include soup or salad and a dessert. I had the kielbasa Reuben and my husband had his favorite, liver and onions. The homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious. Maria, our server, was so very nice as was Jason when he seated us. Looking forward to a return trip! My first time at this diner and the food and service was so very good. The menu is extensive and there is so much to choose from. My husband had the liver and onions and I opted for the Twins skillet which was beef brisket and vegetables topped with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese and since I was at a diner, I had to have a toasted cinnamon bun with butter. The bun itself was delicious, it was placed over a caramel drizzle and of course, I was super happy! I had the pleasure of meeting Tina, and she was so very nice and we definitely will be returning for more delicious diner food.

We tried this place out after driving by it many times. It’s always busy! 🙄 I was excited to see Huevos Con Chorizo on the menu! My bf ordered the Gravy Biscuits meal. This was the most flavorLESS food I’ve EVER come across in my life! Coffee tasted as if I was made with literally one coffee bean! I shoulda ordered the waffles or pancakes ya can’t mess that up! It’s a cute place. The customer service wasn’t horrible yet a smile would be nice. The staff seemed depressed. I don’t know who on Gods Earth is impressed by this so called “Food” and don’t get me started on the spices or lack there of. I’ve never seen my bf salt food at a restaurant yet he tried to add salt pepper and still not even a tastebud was stimulated! Maybe it’s a new cook idk We met nice people in there and had great conversation so there’s a plus! If you’re going for good food eat at home first!

Rae the waitress was soo rude. She accused me of having a bad mood when I just came in the door. I asked for some bread because the salad bar didn't have anymore and she proceeded to tell me they didn't give bread although there is a container for it and just saw the person before me have some. She gave me wounder bread people!!! Then while up there she said you can only come up once. She just assumed I was going to go to the salad bar again? Food was horrible and cold as well. Holly the other server was completely rude. I told her that the person I came with was allergic to these peppers in his dish and It didn't say it came with them. She proceeded to say look at the menu your food comes with peppers and I did and there was no where on the menu that even said that. He got chicken alfredo, who in there right mind puts yellow bell peppers in chicken alfreo?

I want to start out and say that usually Quaker Diner it's an amazing place, the food is delicious, the service is great, and the people are nice. My family has been going there since it first opened and I never had a bad experience. Until a couple months back, an experience that was soured by an incompetent waiter who really made the experience the worse dinning experience I ever had.

So my room mate takes me to the Diner for my birthday, which is probably the other reason why I'm so bitter. It starts off nice at first, we get our food at reasonable time, I got the chicken tenders and the roomie gets a cheese steak macaroni dish. My food was delicious but my roomie stopped eating her food after her fourth bite and started turning green after . I asked her what was wrong and she showed me her bowl, which had a least a cup worth of grease. I wish I was exaggerating. Now my roommate has acid reflux so that amount of grease could make her very sick, like puking all night, and spending huge amounts of time at the bathroom. I waved our waiter over, explained the situation and asked if he could give her a roll to soak up some of the acid from the grease so she wouldn't be sick. The waiter was unsympathetic, ignored the fact that there was something wrong with the food, then started arguing with me that he couldn't give her a roll. Frustrated, I told him that I would just pay for it so let it be.

He eventually comes back with a piece of slightly burnt toast and leaves us alone. My room mate then muttered that she was suppose to get a free roll and salad with her meal anyway. Angry, I asked to see the menu, looked up her order and she was right. I pointed this out to our waiter, and he pretty much blew me off and said he didn't charge us for the toast anyway. Because a toast equals a roll and a salad. And no apologies for fighting with me for a roll.

Next, snooty waiter drops off our check while we are still eating. I stop him and said we weren't done and we were still waiting on for the cake my roomie ordered for my B-Day. He finally comes back with the cake slices when we are done eating but HE DOESNT CLEAR OUR PLATES OR GIVE US NEW SILVERWARE! And we had a tiny table so we literally had to eat with our plates in our hands, above the mess, and my roomie had to eat her piece with a knife because she already used her fork and that was the only utensil left.

That waiter made our experience a nightmare and I don't think I can ever convince my roommate to come back. I really hope this is a review Quaker can see and learn to be on the look out for other bad waiters, just so they can retain them properly because it really does make or break...

Tonight was the WORSE Service ever. This has been around our 7th time dining here and we always have had a great time; however, tonight our waitress MARIA was extremely rude and displayed poor customer service. From the moment the three of us entered the establishment Maria instantly gave an unwanted feeling. After seating us and taking our drink order which was a coffee and hot tea with lemon, it took her another 10 minutes to take our orders. Our party of 3 ordered (2) Cheeseburger deluxe meals and a Crabcake platter with a side of turkey sausage and asked for Napkins and silverware. With several other patrons ordering and receiving orders 30 minutes later our party still had received neither Napkins, silverware or our waitress attention. Finally 42 minutes later we received partial of our order. When we had to ask for beverages Maria was walking away from our table in which our entire parties order was shouted out. Receiving our drinks with no straws and still no Napkins I waited for Maria to come back pass our table and again asked for Napkins and Mustard in which she then removed only one of the two empty coffee cups when stated the other cup could be removed Maria stated, "in a second when I come back around." From that moment we no longer saw Maria and had to request service from the other waitress Justice. Justice was very upbeat, pleasant and extremely professional. Not only did Justice help but she quickly cleared our table of the unwanted dishes and supplied with proper utensils. Within the several minutes of Justice service she asked if we were okay and needed anything else more times than Maria had even spent at our table yet alone inquire about our experience. Poor unprofessional service was received in which we did not enjoy or finish our meals. Despite our horrible circumstances we did respectfully leave a tip to Justice the waitress you would like to have. If you do decide to patronize this establishment be aware of the waitress Maria it will not...

We visited 2 days ago. The service was horrible. We sat there waiting for someone to take our order after being given menus . A couple were seated 10 minutes after us and immediately a waitress took their order. After telling the same waitress we were there first, she said she (Holly) didn't know who our waitress was although she was the one that gave us our menus. Holly took our order which was just sandwiches. We did not want fries and asked for applesauce. She didn't know if we could switch. Came out 7 minutes later and said we could but we would have to take the applesauce out and gave me a small takeout cup. Then told us someone else would be serving us. We waited 20 minutes watching a couple of parties be seated and served . We finally asked where our food was. It didn't have to be cooked because they were just sandwiches. The second waitress said "oh" went in the back and brought out our food. It came with a beverage. After receiving a 3/4 cup of coffee which we pointed out that was never addressed, no ever came back to see if everything was ok. We finally asked a 3rd waitress for boxes. We got up to pay. The 3rd waitress was taking our money. Never asked us how was everything. I proceeded to tell her how we were treated. I've been coming in off and on for 15 years. She apologized and said she would talk to the waitress. I asked her was she the manager. She looked nervous and said no she was a waitress .I asked for the manager. The 3rd waitress said she was in the back on the phone. Asked her to describe the manager. I hadn't seen that person the whole 60 minutes plus we were in the diner. The next day which was yesterday (Tuesday), my partner and I started eating the applesauce which we were told had to be taken out. It was bad! Sour! Had to be thrown out! This whole visit...
