Cold Cut Villa — Restaurant in Philadelphia

We stopped in to grab some "hoagies" before the drive home to Boston. We were greeted so warmly when we walked in - wearing Boston sports gear. The staff were so friendly and reccomended some things we may like. They gave us some cheeses to try and asked us about our visit to Philadelphia while they prepped our order. They even buttered a hoagie roll for the road for my son who is a picky eater! The car smelled so good the entire drive home and I ate my turkey and cheese so quick I didn't get to take a picture! In the 6th largest city in the US and its hundreds of choices, this is the only place I will go for a sandwich. If it’s not open then I’ll wait until it is. Excellent meat choices, cutlets and sandwiches that are the best I have ever had outside of Italia. If they made cannoli….. You’d have to pry me out of there. I love this deli. The guys who run it are classy guys. They LOVE making custom sandwiches for me, they really go out of their way to provide extra. Another thing they love is when you get a chicken cutlet sandwich and you ask for gravy on it, but you call it sauce.
