Taqueria Morales — Restaurant in Philadelphia

My wife and I were looking for some authentic Mexican food on our way to a concert at the wells fargo center and found this place on Google. We were definitely not disappointed! The food was amazing! Definitely authentic, and made with fresh and high quality ingredients! I had the enchiladas susias and a glass of horchata and both were fantastic. The gentleman that served us was very polite and timely when checking in on us to see if we needed anything. The environment was also very nice with Mexican music and decor that really solidified the authentic feel.

New Year’s Day internet says your open, but your person operating the phones hangs up on me after answering as soon as I try to order, and then won’t answer upon calling back , tried calling with a different number- same thing- 1 pickup, then hangs up after I try to order. I Spent over a grand here in last year, (2022) won’t be patronizing again, I understand it’s New Year’s Day, but if your closed, just say so, don’t answer the phone and start to take an order and then hang up On people, it’s terrible service , just be honest and say your closed, I would happily respect that and continue to patronize, but answering the phone, saying your open when I ask, and then hanging up is unacceptable- try harder and do better so you don’t lose...

I love churros and these definitely didn’t disappoint!!! They are served warm with filling, might be caramel I’m not exactly sure but it’s really good not to sweet goes with the churros perfectly. It also has the most filling I’ve ever had in a churro it literally exploded out when I bit it but they didn’t become soggy or anything and it was a good amount for $6.
