Crown Fried Chicken on 52nd — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Never had any issue with fried chicken from other providers, I guess cuz I ordered 4 delivery and had paid in advance.. this chicken 8 piece mix with 3 wings was the worst SOON as I opened box I should of called and asked 4 refund ..The chicken was actually burnt to the point that a minute in microwave dried it out Horrible, Horrible nasty if this how they do business its my first and last experience with this place when I say never again I MEAN THAT WITH MY WHOLE SOUL end up feeding it to my 2 pit bulls. IM GOING TO REMOVE THAT STAR CUZ THIS EXPERIENCE WAS A TOTAL ZERO EXCEPTON THEIR END PAID IN FULL.. GETS YOU BURNT DRIED CHICKEN NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN PLEAS TAKE MY ADVISE CHURCHES IS THE BEST OR KFC OR ROYAL FARMS AT LEAST It's COOKED PROPERLY NOT BURNED TO A CRISP.. ENJOY YALL CHICKEN IF YOU GET COOKED GREAT OR HOW YOU LIKE IT. BUT 40.00 Plus dollars for burnt food Noooo way FOOD to expense.. next time I'll buy fresh from market and cook it myself. Do better or get a better cook there isn't a reason for burnt food experience with chicken....

I always make sure I get the best fresh chicken from here . I am not gonna lie, its delicious. Crispy , Juicy and Flavorful. The shrimp is good , and also their ice cream . However, I wouldn't waste my time of the pre-made mac and cheese, coleslaw, potato salad this, beef patties that . Yuck . Also the cheesecakes been there forever . No thanks . Maybe thats why it's called crown fried...

Fast, friendly service. Good food for midnight hunger pains. LOL. At 1am debris was strewn in front of the neighboring business which almost took away my appetite, SMH. A customer told the staff he had called the police to report seeing 3 guys throwing trash around/at each other and fighting. That was surprising, normally there's a police cruiser sitting there in the middle...
