Del Taco — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I am very familiar with Del Taco and the way it should taste and their level of freshness. I give this location a solid 4 stars because they are highly new and clearly in the process of perfecting their taste and flavor palate to a place of full perfection. The burgers are good the tacos were hit and miss the quesadilla I had was a bit dry and my loaded fries were a bit bland. What I mean by hit or miss is the tacos and quesadilla both seemed to be unevenly made and lack uniformity. One had too much cheese one had not enough. Almost seemed as two different people were standing there and one made this taco and the other this taco. Despite mostly small issues I could tell they are a chain headed in the right direction. And I must say their service to customers was immaculate and the building and dining room were very clean. All in all I will very likely go again sometime soon as I look forward to seeing their continued improvement and suggest you try them out yourself for a tiny taste of west coast...

Decided to try them out. The restaurant is nice, of course it is brand new. The food was very, very expensive for what you get. I had the chicken quesadilla combo, the quesadilla was very bland and the fries were so-so. My mother had the chicken tacos, she said they were fine but not great. We shared the loaded nachos. We have been here at least a dozen times since it opened. At first it was good food. Last week we ate here and they didn't get my husband's order right he only got half of his food and my food and his was stone cold. Today we went in and asked would the food be hot because it wasn't last time. My husband's was Luke warm my hamburger was Luke warm and my chili cheese fries were cold and hard.
