While shopping for a mattress with our two young children, Kevin Ward showed more patience and kindness towards my family than should be expected of any salesman. My kids were excited about all the new and pretty furniture and bounced around checking everything out. We asked Kevin a thousand questions and most of the questions or answers were interrupted by my husband or myself with ādonāt climb on thatā, ādonāt touch thatā, āplease come hereā, āstop runningā and Kevin never showed any irritation. He interacted with the kids and gave us space to discuss our options when needed. He handled this situation with grace, all while taking time to assist other customers, too. We purchased our new mattress and the kids are excited about the āimportant family decisionā they got to take part in. Im so thankful for the time he took with us. I believe kids learn best through experience, and Iām appreciative of the people and businesses that are truly āfamily friendlyā and allow learning experiences to take place. Iāve avoided buying a new mattress for 6 years, not because of the financial purchase, but because I was afraid of the irritation or judgement I might encounter when bringing small children into a place like that. As you can imagine, after six years of avoiding furniture shopping, there are quite a few pieces in my home that need an upgrade. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am here a little over a year and a half later to give another 5 stars review!! We got the stoneland couch and recliner in September of 2022. We also purchased the Montage Premium Protection Plan (an absolute disaster and scam !!! $150 wasted. Do not purchase). Anyway, one of our recliner handles broke a while back so I reported it with Montage but of course in the fine print of the booklet of what you can and canāt do, the damage had the be reported in 30 days and I reported my damage 41 days after damage. Why does that matter when the protection plan is a 5 year deal?? Good question. So I contacted Woodstock and explained what had happened honestly just so they would know to let everyone know that if they are going to buy the plan to make sure it is reported within 30 days. However, they went above that and I was assured they would be working to try to figure something out. Jennifer and Brent have remained very professional during the entire process and have done all they could do to ensure we got some help with this issue. Then when my husband contacted them they act as if they was just about to call him to inform him our mattress and boxspring was in! Once he got there they did not have one of the pillows we ordered. He was then told they would contact us when the pillow arrived but never did! I contacted the store and actually spoke to Clay the salesman that sold us our mattress, boxspring and pillows. He claim he quoted us a few days or 2-4 weeks but that was not true! I am not sure about other Woodstock Stores and their customer service but the Philadelphia store is horrible. They will never get service from us again! I will make sure to let other people in town aware!
Update: Brent Bolden, the General manager contacted my husband and I shortly after my review. He went above and beyond to making sure we was updated on the article of our pillow. It was greatly appreciated and the reason I changed my star rating from 2 stars to 4 stars!...
