Service has been terrible lately. Have had a tech come out about a dozen times. My issue persists. The tech is friendly and does what he can do but the issues persist. Called yesterday explaining grievances to a rep and he told me I should just bring in my equipment and cancel rather than offering any solution.
Update: - Lowering Rating (because of office location). The store offered to swap my equipment, which I did. Have been having worse issues since then. They put in a ticket to get a maintenance tech to come out and fix my problem. They sent the same guy who has come out a dozen times already - after assuring me they would be sending someone else. The lady then gave me her card with the number to the store, not the 800 number and said to call if I had any issues at all. I called the number several times. No answer. They also asked me to go online and give a good rating but did absolutely nothing to assist but rather lied about who they were sending and gave me a phone number that went nowhere.
The tech that has come out has been nothing short of wonderful. The issue is that he has done all he can do and no one will send anyone that can do what I need done.

Read moreLet me start by saying, my local representative has been awesome but unfortunately her hands are tied on most things after the contract is signed. I’m a 17 year business owner. Dealing with this company has been BY FAR the worst ( and still is) experience in all my professional years!! First, I had to hire my own IT person because Maxx South didn’t know how to do their job! This is AFTER I signed a contract! This cost! Then, I had to call the land owner beside my business to ask permission to run a line!! I waited FOUR MONTHS for internet service!! I’m in the middle of town! My IT guy even had to help Maxx South with the PHONE LINE!! The 2 men they sent didn’t have a clue!! They even cut off my credit card line! My IT guy fixed that!! When they installed my phone, they installed an office phone! We are a 20,000 sq ft facility! How can we carry a hefty office phone around! That was ONE MONTH AGO!! I’m still waiting for them to replace with a mobile! Excuse after excuse after excuse!!! Maxx South NEVER ask what type of phone I needed! I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for an email letting me know how to check voicemail!!

The service has always been unexpected if you pay for 75mbps you will get that 'maybe' if you are directly connected to the modem if not your guranteed maybe around 40-50mbps on average and not to mention the hit you take during the busy hours of 2pm-10pm so your pretty much forced to pay for a higher package just to enjoy basic speeds I have been with this company for over 10years and I can honestly say if you are looking for Internet definitely look for better options before coming here.(Also if you can bring your own equipment please do so they will constantly charge you for theirs and it is not good quality...
