I got a gift card from a relative some time ago and decided to redeem it for some pizza. I called a Domino's near me, and asked if they delivered. I provided my address and they confirmed they did. I ordered my food and used up my gift card over the phone and was going to pay the ~$4 in cash when they arrived.
Some 20-25 minutes later they call back and say they can't deliver. The place is about 20 minutes away, so I ask if I can just pick it up, and whether the manager was willing to throw something in for the trouble. The person on the phone said I could pick it up and that she would talk to her manager and the manager would speak to me when I arrived. Upon arriving, I was informed that no one knew anything about my order and that my food wasn't ready.
The person I talked to on the phone was eventually found, and I asked her whether the manager was going to do anything about this now double inconvenience. She said that my bill, the $4 I owed, was taken care of. I scoffed at this insult since the gift card I used was for $20, meaning the restaurant was basically throwing change at me. I asked her to speak with the manager because this was unsatisfactory.
When she came back, she said that they would take off the soda, and I would owe some $1.50. Clearly, I had now entered the Twilight Zone, as I asked for more than $4 worth of compensation and I wound up being charged instead. I sent her back to her manager and demanded that my pizza be upgraded, any charges I owed be comped, and for an apology. When she returned, still with no manage to speak to me, she informed me that the pizza would be upgraded and that I would owe the $4.
Incredulous, hungry, and mad, I told her to tell her manager they could keep the food and that I wanted my card refunded. She returned and said that I couldn't be refunded, but she would try. Then, I saw her through the glass, arguing with whom I presume is the manager and he walked over and shoved the pizza and soda into the window and told me to take it and not worry about it.
Overall, I am appalled by Domino's and their customer service. It took me almost three hours to pick up food that I ordered for delivery and was still...

Who ever the girl working Friday night is nasty and unprofessional and the driver should not be working if he can’t speak English and hangs up and says he delivered food that he did not! I placed an order through Uber Eats, hoping to provide a warm meal for my two toddlers. Unfortunately, the delivery driver seemed to have lost his way. In an effort to assist him, I tried to give clear directions over the phone. However, instead of receiving help or understanding, he abruptly hung up on me. To make matters worse, he marked my entire order as delivered without actually bringing it to my home. At this point, I was left in a distressing situation with two hungry toddlers.. This was not just any meal it was our last bit of money spent on food that we desperately needed. In a panic, I reached out to customer service for assistance and a possible refund. However, my call was met with indifference and rudeness. When I spoke to the young lady at the store, she laughed at my predicament and put me on hold for what felt like an eternity—15 minutes of silence while I anxiously waited for help that never came. When I finally got back through to her, she dismissed my concerns by saying they were too busy to assist me further. This experience has left me disgusted. Not only did I face a lack of support from Uber Eats during a critical moment for my family, but the dismissive attitude from the store’s staff added insult to injury. Read moreI ordered my food at 1:15 am and was told that my food would be delivered in an hour. I waited and my food never came so i called to see what was going on. I was told the driver came to my house( but didn't knock or get out of the car) and called( i got no call at all) and that they brought the food back. I asked for it to be sent out again because i never saw a car come up to my house nor got any phone call. I waited another hour my food still not delivered i called again to check up on if the address was right. At 3:20 i called again and was spoken to very rudely and was told they cancelled my order because no one answered they phone( i still had not been called) and that they don't get out of the car for deliveries. angry, i asked if anything could be done but the worker , who said his name was steve, still continued with the nasty tone. I had my older sister call and she was told that if she and i drove there we would get our order free so we drove at 3:50 am to this dominoes just to be told when we got there that the workers ATE OUR FOOD and all we got was the cookie brownie and an ugly attitude.
