Ed's Pizza House — Restaurant in Philadelphia

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a jumbo size pizza half cheese & half Beef pepperoni, 20 piece Mild buffalo wings, & a large order of cheese fries from Ed’s pizza on Rising Sun Ave. My family doesn’t eat pork, so I specifically requested her to write “beef pepperoni” bc they have beef & pork pepperoni. The young lady who picked up the phone told me “I dnt have to write beef pepperoni.” I ordered the rest of my order & requested she read it back to me. She read the order & did not specify “beef pepperoni”. When I asked her to specify “beef pepperoni” she told me to have a nice day as if she intended to end the call. When I told her to cancel my order she told me she will write beef. The total disrespect & disregard to my family not eating pork is beyond me. I will never order from this pizzeria again. I am really upset bc their food is not bad. But if this business doesn’t respect my wishes, then I won’t do business with this them anymore. If the young lady I encountered today reads this, I hope she learns the importance of proper customer service in the future. The only reason I accepted the order is bc the receipt had written on the side “make sure it’s beef”. The deliver man was extremely nice & respectful. I'm extremely disappointed with Ed’s pizza so my sister and I order a large cheese pizza and an order of fries . Our order was ready I paid and proceeded to put fixings on my pizza I noticed a little spider crawling from under the pizza. We informed the worker she looked at me as if I was lying because at this point the spider ran to another area of the box. The worker had attitudes like we wasn’t suppose to bring it to their attention. They begin talking in Spanish. Meanwhile my sister and I are looking all over for the spider and notice a giant wed in the corner of the box. With an attitude the lady ask do we want to wait 15 minutes for another no apology no nothing just all attitude. We said no thanks we’ll take just fries. They did not want to give us our money back we stood there for 7 minutes while they discussed whatever they was discussing. And both got sick from the French fries needless to say never again...

I called 3 times and finally got an answer. A woman answered the phone with the demeanor of a child and couldn't comprehend what I wanted even though I ordered in clear English. Then I gave her my credit card numbers and I was rewarded with an immediate phone "hang up". I called back a total of 8 times [no lie] to finally get a response. I asked her "hey I ordered 10 minutes ago and gave you my numbers and then you hung up on me. What gives?" She acted totally oblivious as if the conversation never happened and asked what my numbers were. Clearly she knew I made that order. I then asked politely for a manager or the owner and I was put on hold. 5 minutes later another "hang up". Terrible service. Ignorant of what it even means to serve a customer a product. To sum it up: i don't care even if the food is superb, if you treat customers like trash then...
