Fame's Famous Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Ordered a chicken sandwich $6. Pepsi bottle is apparently $4.50 here, that should be enough reason to not buy from here. But let’s proceed with the interaction at the store today anyway

I was called for my order, BBQ sand. I paid $10 with card. The gentleman said “oh wait, I gave you the wrong order”. Mind you he gave me a pizza box. I should have known better, but this is the deal: if you are working in food, whatever job it is, you should be an expert. So he gives me a pizza box and then says oh wait that’s not your order. But how do you mess something up that is this rudimentary and basic is my question.

So then when my order DOES come up, I asked “is $10 a fair price to match what I purchased?” To which he most likely lied and said “yes.”

So a few things: anyone with a working brain would know that a Pepsi 20oz is not $4.50 (as you can buy them for way cheaper from a CVS)

And also, why would this counter person deliberately lie to my face and say that a sandwich and a Pepsi would total to $10.50?

It just seems dishonest to me. EVEN IF the price added up to $10.50, it is dishonest still because the price of a 20oz Pepsi is not $4.50….

But I was not going to argue with this person, I will just write my experience and avoid for future interactions without a doubt

I just had lunch there. There was hardly anyone there at all. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella on wheat. I got a tiny fried chicken sandwich on a hamburger bun with no mozzarella. I was charged for what I ordered, which was more expensive. You had one job.

I was there the other day too and ordered a veggie burger. I guess I should have asked, but I was really disappointed when they gave it to me fried. Who fries veggie burgers? I'm done...

Hands down the best pizza on campus, and still among the best pizza I've had within the whole city. They make all their sauces themselves & from scratch, which is what makes all their different pizzas so flavorful and tasty. Also their cheesesteaks are top-notch as well!
