Flamin Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Philadelphia

It was a bad sign that I went by twice and in different days and no customers either time, they actually looked closed, we did not see anyone for a few minutes (we should have left), we finally see someone, so we go up to the window. There were two males, neither said anything to us, so I said hello! One of them muttered maybe a hello and after a minute or so the other guy asked if we were ready to order, we weren’t, but we ordered anyway. Less than 15 minutes later, we got our food. The fries were hot and crispy, but their house sauce ruined them, the sauce was sweet and very little savory. The chicken sliders are actually sandwiches which we’re supposed to be their highlight, but were terrible, served with cheese and 1 pickle slice on a bun, the chicken was dry, no flavor, not fried enough ( frozen chicken is better) and the same chicken was in the wrap we ordered, it was just cut up, but dry, no flavor the menu said the wrap was to have kale slaw, we did not get kale slaw or any slaw or anything to make the wrap good. I was really looking forward to trying this place. First bad sign was that there were no customers when I pulled up. Now I see why… The food is not at all hot chicken. The chicken really isn’t even a chicken tender, it’s more of a store bought chicken patty (you can tell from picture), not to mention that they drowned their food in this atrocious sauce. The chicken was not even crispy (seems like it came frozen) and all they did was drench it in hot sauce. It was awful! I took one bite and couldn’t even finish it. I tried giving the food back and getting a refund because it just wasn’t worth the $16 I paid for, and when I walked back up, both men had a bad attitude about it and didn’t give me a refund. Thank goodness I just called the bank and got it disputed! But would not recommend this place at all. Horrible customer service and terrible food. Any other hot chicken spot is better...

First time here today September 11th 2023 we pull up in the lot I had to look to make sure they were open no one was outside or waiting or nothing….so we go over we looked at there menu I got the loaded fries my wife got the chicken tenders and fires got done in like 10 minutes pretty fast got in the car opened are trays up look at the chicken it’s like the used a regular chicken fingers…not like the profile pics at all the sauce was not good at all I could taste garlic the chicken was soggy nothing crispy, but the fries the fries was good I like them a lot the service was good too so is parking…. I respect there food game but I won’t be back for chicken …maybe just fries ….to me it’s kinda a bite off of asads chicken place but with cheaper chicken and a way...
