Furniture Mecca on venago street is shady with their policies. We had purchased a rug, curtains, pillows, and A dining room set. When we got home, we noticed that the rug we bought was too small. Within24 hours, we try to return it but they saiy no refunds. It says on receipt but we should have Been advised prior to purchase, but the representative never told us and there were no signs about their return policy. That doesn’t seem fair after the fact ( after the purchase) they tell you no refunds. Second, we decide to get a credit card application for the dinning room. It is $40 fee for the credit card application. I am not familiar with any retailers that charge for a credit card application. Is this normal?? But the real issue, we moved, but we couldn’t get the furniture to our new address. After they run the credit card, THEN they tell us they can only deliver it to the address on the license. What??? People move all the time. We literally just moved, and we did not change our ids yet. they continue to explain AFTER the fact we just got approved for the financing. Okay. so It is going to go to the old address, luckily it is our step fathers address. He is retired, and home all day. The furniture never arrives, but they insist they delivered. Also, he has video cameras. Never delivered. My husband goes into the store to see what happened. They insist it was delivered to that address. He knows it was not. He says he just rather pick it up, but THEY SAY IT IS NOT THEIR POLICY. We would need to get redilvered for another $75 fee. Whattt?? My husband is feeling like this company is robbing him. He paid already for delivery fee, and they did not show up, then we have to pay again. At this point, we are so frustrated with all this “said” policy that they never tell you before the fact and the terrible customer service. He wants to cancel. 25% to cancel $250....
Read moreI will never purchase anything from here ever again. I was supposed to get all of my stuff delivered at once to my home (which I paid $50 for). On the day of the delivery I was missing the chest from the bedroom set I ordered, although I was assured that they had everything in stock. Comes to be that they didn't have the chest. Anyways, I called the place and they told me that they had ordered it and that it would be delivered a week from that exact day. I week passes by and I receive no call. I go to the store on a Monday (very upset) and I get assured that I would definitely get it on Wednesday. I agree. The next day I get a call from the main store telling me that I would have to wait 2-3 weeks for my chest to be delivered because they were backed up in deliveries. At this point I about had it and went to the store personally and get told that it will for sure arrive on Wednesday and that the person on the phone didn't know what they were talking about. I said ok cool. Guess what.... Wednesday came and went and I didn't receive my chest. I went today, Thursday, to get my money back from them, but the manager assured me that he would personally deliver my chest anywhere from 3-4pm for me.... and once again I agreed. All I wanted to do was get what I paid for, but I guess that since they already had their money, they don't care for my struggles. I missed multiple days of work waiting for my chest to arrive. AT 4:30pm I went again and demanded my money back to the manager. He said that the delivery guys should have called me but didn't, and he said "don't bust my balls for 30 minutes" of them being late. I still insisted on a refund and he told me that I wasn't going to get it and to sit and wait for it.... So basically I was forced to get the chest, simply because I didn't want to waste...

I ordered a dinning room set 3 weeks prior to the day I needed it so that It can be exactly on time, which they told me it was. ok so the day come for delivery & as I'm waiting to be called with delivery hours no one called, I called them & they told me that my things wasn't in the store yet so I wouldn't be expect my delivery until the next day. ok cool, the next day come & nothing! I called back & the lady actually got smart with me, & told me they will call me the day my stuff get there which might be Monday. so Wednesday whole week later, & I haven't heard nothing, so I called & demanded an exact delivery date, & was told that, they just found out 4 weeks later that my stuff is on back order & that I had to come in & pick something else or take the floor model for no money off, so I goes to pick something else out because I was promised it will be delivered that Friday morning by 10 because it was already there in the warehouse. so here we are Friday morning as I called out of work to be here for this delivery, & I get a call saying my stuff will be here somewhere around 7 this evening! so now I'm pissed because this is another day I have called out, & have my time wasted!!! I will never order from here again! HORRIBLE...
