Galaxy Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

10/3/24 Follow Up- I gave them another shot after that very honest reply from the store- They are back to being great again. The ones I got on 9/19 were really not good. But the ones I got last night were as good as always. I'd rate them 7 out of 10

9/19/24 I base my pizza places on their wings. During Covid every place jacked up their wing prices but Galaxy was fair about it. Plus they were a good size, really good flavor and cooked well. The problem is that more recent they started to really lack in flavor. We usually order on Wednesday evenings and lately it seems that they are using stale oil, almost like they change it once a week on Thursdays. We have since got them on Friday and they tasted much better. My last 2 orders however tasted like they changed the mild sauce AND started using miscuts for their wings. If anyone shops at Restaurant Depot or other wholesale place they know the miscuts are much much cheaper. I got some wings that were hard to tell what part of the chicken they came from. Between the stale taste, the change in their sauce and now the miscuts.. I can't go back. Time to find a new wing place. If Galaxy cares to go back to how they were 6 months ago, my name is in your system as you deliver regularly to me, reach out.

FOLLOW UP: As a follow up, after reading the detailed reply from the owner, I will have to give them another try just to be sure I am being fair. Thanks for taking the time to follow up...

This Is a horrible small double pepperoni pizza!!! What do you all think looking at this picture? ? My wife ate 2 slices before I got a chance to Take a picture, but, she waited until i saw the whole pizza

When I cannot the number of pepperoni slices on this pizza? There were a total of 20 Pepperoni slices. I paid for a double pepperoni pizza.!!!!

When I called to complain The only thing that could suggest was given me credit for a single topping for a future order period

I highly doubt that they have something that records anything like this to have as active memory for them to see it when an order is placed

Second issue deals with the use of a debit card... Federal laws will tell you that debit cards are not supposed to be charged fees as they are not credit cards in transaction. Yet they ran My card has a credit card and not a debit card. I'm beginning to take names of restaurants and their phone numbers and beginning to lodge comagainst these institutions that do not know the fees for debit cards. Versus the fees for credit card...

Dumb me ordered a grilled boneless chicken salad on 8/14/23. The salad was supposed to have lettuce, tomato, cucumber, egg,onions, and green peppers. Well you guessed it, they got the order wrong. When I got home I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad. I called and they said they would fix it and it would be ready in a half hour. Really, I have no intention of running back and forth tonight. Not part of the plan. Everyone deserves a second chance. Don't know if I can give you a third. SMDH. Galaxy Pizza used to have one of the best grilled chicken Caesar salads. I have ordered one last night and it was the worst, I mean the worst grilled chicken Caesar salad that I've ever tasted. The container had water in it, the lettuce was big, minimum chicken, croutons weren't fresh, and no Parmesan cheese. About 4 months ago I had a not so good grilled chicken Caesar salad from them, is thought it was a fluke. There is no fluke, the grilled chicken caesar salad sucks. It was so bad that I will never order...
