As a Brazilian that recently move to Philly from nyc, I was excited to find a place where I can go when I feel homesick, but let me tell you that I couldn’t be more disappointed and uncomfortable in a place as I was when I got in there. The place smells bad and looks poorly managed. The food tastes old and bland and the music is way too loud. Although the servers were friendly they couldn’t speak one word in English (my husband doesn’t speak Portuguese), that usually doesn’t bother me, but the experience was so bad that it just made it worse. Supposedly it’s described as a sports bar, but all the 3 TVs shows a very very poor video definition, and they have no tap beer, which is extremely uncommon for sports bar. The bartenders can be hit or miss, depending on who is on duty and what day it is. But overall they are some of the most beautiful Brazilian girls you’ve ever seen. The food is fantastic. I have never been disappointed with it. If you enjoy spending a night listening to live music, drinking and dancing with the regulars, then come in and soak up the atmosphere.
