Northeast Regional Library — Attraction in Philadelphia

Walked in and was not greeted . Instead yelled at to put a mask on… so I do so. I tour the place around since it is my first time here and I find a place to study and read on a floor that is empty and no one was on. My studying was disturbed for the first 30 minutes by a group of employees on a different floor who worked there talking loud as ever about their lives and “how Mary’s baby is doing”…. Time goes by and a security guard walks over to me and tells me to cover my nose with my mask on a floor that nobody was on but myself. I was there today 9/4/14 to sign up for Fasfa. I couldn't do it alone so I had a counselor on the phone to talk me through the process... I was quiet there was no one sitting near me .. The staff kicked me out of the library for simply trying to better my life. They told me they didn't care I couldn't be on the phone even though they knew it was for my education. I left but, I will never go back, they were ignorant & very nasty. I can't help but think they pointed me out because I am a young black woman, who was wearing a tupac t shirt and a head scarf...
