One of the only redeeming features of this store is that it has self-checkout lanes. Beyond that...read on.
If you come here to buy groceries, there are a few things you should know. First, they move things around constantly. Looking for coffee? Don't plan on finding it in the aisle marked "coffee." Juice? Sometimes it's in an aisle and other times it's along the wall. There never seems to be any consistency or planning involved. Shopping is always a scavenger hunt. Also, if you come in with a grocery list, guaranteed they will be out of at least one or two of the most important items on it, necessitating a trip to another store to get it. Planning on milk, bread, eggs, and cereal for breakfast? Hah! Better plan on eating that cereal dry...if they have the particular cereal you wanted, that is.
Next, there's the checkout lines. My question is this: Why have so many lanes in the first place if you're only going to have a few of them manned at any given time? Do yourself a favor: Look at the lines as you enter the store BEFORE you start shopping. See how long they are and DOUBLE it. Guaranteed they'll be that long (or longer) when you're ready to check out.
Finally, there's the situation with the parking lot and surrounding streets. I remember back before they built and opened this location. They met with representatives from the neighborhood who expressed concern about additional traffic, trash, and cart management. At that time, Target assured that there wouldn't be any problems. Well, surprise, there ARE problems. Carts are usually all over the place and can be found on the side streets blocks from the lot. Trucks park on the side streets overnight, ignoring the signs prohibiting them from doing so. Trash? All over the place. The outside trash cans are often filled to capacity/overflowing. The smell as you pass them when entering/leaving the store on a hot day isn't pleasant. Worse, with a good breeze, it all goes flying throughout the lot and the surrounding...
Read moreNo wonder why amazon is taking alot of Targets business. Everytime I try to buy a gift for a child the toy section and electronic sections are ALWAYS out of stock and ALWAYS a mess. Inside the middle of the Starbucks cafe they have an employee pricing inventory with a shopping cart filled with drinks and right next to that is a hand jack with a pallet on the floor making it hard for customers to walk buy to get to the seating. Safety hazard as I already saw a woman and her child almost trip as they tried to squeeze through. You think the security officer would pick up on this but he is too busy flirting with the girl who works the register at the pizza hut to go and bouncing a raquet ball around. Also 3 lazy employees walked buy the same hand jack and pallet and just acted like it wasnt there. Shout out to the young girl with glasses doing the inventory who sprung into action and helped the Starbucks counter while they got slammed to help the customers with a better experience and not have them wait a long time in line. 5 stars...
Read moreThis store is not bad but today I was profiled. I was not dressed inappropriate so I don't know why. I have worked customer service and have worked self checkout so I know what we are trained to do if we think someone is stealing. When I first came up to the selfcheck out I was greeted with an over enthusiastic and a bit louder"hi how are you doing" which is how you would approach some one who is suspected of stealing. Then on the machine it goes off some times but I was able to work out the issues but the another girl working the selfcheck stood over my shoulder muttering thing like, why does it keep doing that" "I can't underst...." "Did that scan" and I was not the only customers and the machine was NOT doing anything unusual. She was looking and investigating my items with no real cause. I spent $126.00 between vitamins, printer ink, head phones and some feminine products to be treated like this. I felt just awful and...
