I ordered from this spot on Uber Eats. I normally don't order out on Sundays as I'm from the deep South and Sundays are a worship then cook day; however, I was having a real hankering and they have Chicken & Waffles on the menu.
I was a little panicked after I hit the "Place Order" button because only then did I look up the reviews and see the rating on here. But when it arrived (so quickly!) - I was glad I had impulse ordered because the food was phenomenal! I noticed that whoever packed the order even cut holes in the styrofoam container that held the chicken wings so they wouldn't get soggy. I ordered the fish & grits for my husband who noted the plain grits were so-so. BUT that's prob on me for ordering them plain for someone who doesn't know how to season grits as he is from Massachusetts. I'm giving 5 stars because this is MY review and from what I could tell, the grits were made to order.
The only thing "wrong" with my order was I had ordered my eggs over medium, but they arrived scrambled. However, I had considered ordering them scrambled and they were the moist fluffy version I love so I think the cook just knew my heart's true desire.
I also ordered the chocolate mousse and a slice of carrot cake. Both were amazing; I agreed to share the mousse with my kid and I wish I had not because after one bite I wanted all the bites.
Next step is to visit June's in person...
Read more🌞 My 1st order was an amazing start! The heavenly taste of cinnamon & vanilla in the waffles 🥓🧇😋🧇🥓 along with the perfectly cooked turkey bacon is mouthwatering. My sweetheart definitely enjoyed his grits, beef scapple, scrambled eggs, & turkey bacon. Prior to this we'd ordered from the Breakfast Boutique & I must say June's is way better way less grease, better prices, without missing items. Though on my 2nd order I will say they didn't win when it came too being polite. Overall they only lost a star because the young lady who answered the phone greeting was rude and she handed the phone off without warning. She literally answered the phone with "yeah" the only reason I realized I'd actually called some type of business was the sound of restaurant ambiance in the background. On the 1st order I noticed the eggs in my platter wasn't necessarily a generous portion so I added extra the next time that I certainly didn't receive, in fact I received less but paid more. The second order was also cold.. Taking off a star again no longer an Uber Eats treat 💛👏💛...
Read moreI order from here on DoorDash often. The first time I call to make an inquiry about the menu on the app the lady who answered to phone was so nasty. I didn’t even talk to her because the person who asked for her help about the phone call gets yelled at and I can hear him being chewed out about DoorDash callers only be accepted at 1pm which is odd to me because they close at 2. Once she gets on the phone she very aggressively ask for my number I just said never mind bc I decided not order from here any more and she just hangs up while I’m talking. I’m offended because at the end of the day I’m a Customer too my concerns should be addressed just like everyone else whether I’m in person or not. Also she shouldn’t talk to her coworkers better in front of customers I’ve worked on service and I know how busy it gets during breakfast time and how frustrating I that can be but that was too much at 9 am. I did not feel appreciated as a paying...
