K Food Seoul (어촌횟집) — Restaurant in Philadelphia

It felt like dining in a seaside 횟집 in Korea. This place reminded me of a countryside fishing town 횟집. I usually head up to NYC or Fort Lee for sashimi, places like Bada Story. We opted for the $65 Omakase per person as suggested by the server. The courses came out a bit too quickly for us, so we had to pace ourselves. The sashimi was really fresh. The yellowtail practically melted in my mouth, and the tuna was quite good. We enjoyed a couple of Soju. It was just right, not too fancy, not too over-the-top. I'd prefer dining here over making the drive up to NYC from Philly. I definitely plan on returning and would recommend this...

I just got food poisoning from here, my parents usually come every now and then but yesterday was probably the worse experience ever. Wish I never tried their new items cus I was dying in the bathroom for hours after coming here. The service and the boss is nice but don’t try to venture and get other items other than the usual.
