Updated- new review. Well after a year sides are still horrible but this time not seasoned at all. Please just sell salmon and rice as a dish without sides. Price went up (now 18.60 on UberEATS) side portions are bigger but not worth it because of the taste of the sides. See pic with Mac and greens, lil bit of rice and lil bit of sauce do you see any seasoning on either side? What's the couple pieces of spinach for? I wanted to try again thinking improvements may have happened. Wrong. Still using foil in platter, why do restaurants use foil for food you eat with a fork..makes no sense to me. Oh and wait time on UberEATS is 60-70min!! Why? About 10min from me. Do better, please.
ORIGINAL REVIEW. Wanted just salmon and rice however I was told I had to get 2 sides for $16. Waited about 45 min order came out with the one wrong side. She apologized and fixed the order. Now the portions are very small for the price. Salmon and the little bit of rice was delicious. However they put foil in the platter so you run the risk of eating foil if you are not careful. As for the sides, Mac n cheese looked very dry (that was the wrong side so didn't taste it) had greens and yams. Greens are very dry and spicy thats the only flavor on them. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here after months of dying to try their food. Alfredo is $14 for chicken and broccoli , $16 for chicken and shrimp but you add $2.50 for shrimps. Itās no way I should had got 2 $14 platters (plus 5.00 for shrimps) and an $16 platter and been charged $66 (basically $22 a platter). When it should had only been $49. Itās no way taxes is $15. So I asked the employee why is Iām being charged extra and she tells me I must pay for shrimps, broccoli and chicken separate with an āI donāt give af attitudeā ... so I tried explaining to the lady, they just posted the menu on Instagram they should let people know what they are doing instead of having people come down here for overpriced food. The lady looked at me like I was slow and like I wasnāt even talking to her. I traveled 45 minutes to get this food, waited an hour and some change to get the food, just for them to not even give me any shrimps in 2 of my containers. I emailed and wrote the lady on Instagram first before I wrote this and she blocked me. Sad to say but I donāt even want to keep supporting black businesses, itās lack of customer...

Okay where do I start? So we (a nice size family) wanted breakfast for dinner. I kept getting referred to this restaurant by door dash. So I checked out their menu. Fair enough it's a southern style restaurant. They have to be able to get grits right?
I call them and literally give them the holy grail to the perfect shrimp and grits with eggs. But no... I don't know what they called themselves doing... But no...
