KFC — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Okay so I come here almost everyday for lunch. If not Dunkin’ Donuts, the KFC. I pay everyday using a debit card. I usually order pickup after I place an order online. However the connection at my job hasn’t been the best. So on this past Tuesday, I came in asking for a mini sandwich and fries. It totaled up to almost $10. So I said at that point I would rather pay $10 and get a 2 piece chicken meal.

So when after paying, and then receiving my meal. The butch manager chick with the braids & mustache said I asked for a 2 piece chicken sandwich & owed more money. I said no I ordered a 2 piece meal. So instead of arguing, I told her I would pay the extra cents. YES EXTRA CENTS. Not money but cents. She said never mind I don’t have time to change it. So I went on about my day. Now days later, I came in today. She said to the white guy with the glasses, “U gotta watch her she be stealing. I remember her. She got a free meal last time. Watch her. Never mind I’ll ring her up.” So she’s ringing me up as he watches me. I once again ordered the same meal I get all the time & paid the same way with debit.

She gonna yell, “wooo! People like getting free meals”. The white guy is still watching me as she says this.

At this point I’m not gonna be wasting my money here. Because first of all ain’t nothing wrong with KFC food. It’s obvious that I enjoy it a lot. But the customer service that I received today was just wrong. I work just down the street which is why it’s convenient to get lunch here. But I’ll just stick to...

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!! If you want GOOD service in the Mt. Airy area, go to the KFC near Shoprite off of Ogantz Ave. The people at this KFC must be high 100% of the time they are on the clock. They can't get a simple, and unchanging combo order right - a sandwich and fries. The people here seem to think that a sandwich with mac n cheese, or a sandwich with MASH POTATOES makes more sense. How do you mess up a basic 3 ITEM combo order? They really shouldn't be employed at all if they can't handle something THIS simple. It must be intentional because they "don't feel like" cooking more fries - otherwise it makes NO sense to be that daft!

I thought the first time they did this, was an honest mistake and they were just having an "off day" but doing it again just proves that I was wrong and being naive. You can't expect good service from people who are incapable of it, so do yourself a favor and order from literally ANY other KFC than this one.

You might be able to risk it if you go in person, and can call out their idiocy while you are there in the building, but if you order through a delivery service like I did (because I have no choice right now) you're just going to be SOL.

I'm lactose intolerant and I can't eat this mac n cheese...FOR A SECOND TIME. I can only eat homemade mac n cheese with SPECIFIC dairy products!! What a waste of time, effort, money,...

This was my first and LAST time coming to this location. Service was horrible. The young lady that was helping me acted as tho I did something or bothered here by just coming there. Then didn’t ask me what type of chicken I wanted so when I told her she got another attitude. Upon coming in, the window girl was in the lobby taking out her daughters hair then back behind the counter and never washed her hands. Meanwhile the manager was right there not saying anything.
