While the food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Our server “Rich” was interesting to say the least. His sarcasm/ arrogance was first interpreted as poor joking but we were mistaken. He did his job as far as an attentive enough server. When the bill came, members of our party noticed a discrepancy. We were charged as if each member had two main items when it was only one person who did.

When this was brought to Rich’s attention, his words where “oh, I did I not tell you guys. Must have been a different table”. Rich made it seem as if we didn’t know what we were talking about. Or that we wanted to get over.

Supposedly customers are to be told at the front or by the server of a policy that states if one person is charged for hotpot and BBQ that the entire table will be charged as if the each of the party members had that. Rich did not explain this.

Rich lacked accountability. But he was full of arrogance. When we asked for a manager, Rich told us that his manager would say the same thing. He did not. Both Rich and the manager made comments regarding us receiving and being “cut some slack”. What was it about this predominantly Black table would imply that we needed slack?

The staff members at the front and our server alike failed to inform us of this policy. Instead of taking accountability, the server double down and upped his sarcastic tone. For the record, a member of party the was the one to voice the concerns in a very calm and respectful way. Rich was unable to diffuse the situation due to him not accepting his errors and implied blame on the table. Stating “technically y’all all had” when technically we did not. He failed to due his duty by reporting this “policy’”. That’s when the energy he gave was returned to him by a different party member.

In case it was lost in translation, once you loose control of the situation another server or manger should step in. You do not walk back to the table you’ve offended and say “so what did my manager say? It seems like it worked out for yall. He cut you some slack”.

The manger stated that Rich was a new employee. A new employee but both he and the manger implied we were being “cut some slack” in the same way? Sure.

I do not believe that Rich is a new employee. We were just appeased so that they could continue with business. But that doesn’t matter. What matters is the lesson this establishment hopefully will learn from what took place tonight.

This was my first time here, but I don’t plan to return. This post is long but I thought it was important to get it out there. And yes Rich, We did have a great time and like I said. Things only got better once you left.

The food and atmosphere can be great but what does that mean if you have a server who can inspire such a troublesome review?...

Yesterday, Me and my friend just got out of the circus event happening across this restaurant and decided to eat here. It was 9:30pm when we arrived, they told us before seating that the kitchen was going to close at 10pm and we would not be able to repeat or order any other food comming from the kitchen since that is an all you can eat place.

Once we were seated the waiter assured us that we would not be hurried or kicked out; that the bar will stayed open even though the kitchen would closed at 10pm.

We decided to order with drinks (can Thai Tea). Food is amazing, fresh, great selection of ingredients, variety of sauces and spices... and around 10:30pm they ask us to pay since they were closing... we asked before paying to add 2 more cans of drinks and they told us that the bar was closed and they weren't able to sell us can drinks (Thai Tea or any other type)!!! Well we ask for water instead, that the waiter provided.

As soon as my friend wanted to go to the restroom they did not allowed her, and told us it was closed. It was very rude and impressived how the staff could come and go to the restrooms but a client that spend $75+ was not allowed to use it... it felt very targeted since we were the last people at the place. It felt like that was the way of them trying to kick us out while all the bartenders, and other waiters were at the bar cracking jokes and having a blast over drinks.

All of that while we were still eating at that point finishing up. The waiter comes while we were still eating and takes the empty plates and decided to take and throw my friends water to his dirty dishes... we angry ask why did he took that decision knowing that we were still eating but he stared in silence; embarrassed but not apologizing. So we ask for another cup of water since he took that without no reason nor permission at all and he stick to the answer that they were closed and could not served her another water. Manager standed by him not helping at all.

Overall good food but wost service and management.

If they would had told us the truth and not lied to us since the moment we stepped in, we would have make sure to order all the drinks before 10pm and went to the bathroom right away. Instead of delivering such an unethical, unpleasant and unprofessional service. Terrible manager for how poor she handle...

This was my dozen visit to KPot. Just had time to write this review that’s been long overdue. We always get the combo of BBQ and hot pot. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the tantalizing aroma of sizzling meats and a warm and inviting ambience.

One of the standout features of this restaurant was its extensive food selection. The variety of meats available for Korean BBQ was truly remarkable, ranging from succulent beef bulgogi and marinated pork belly to tender chicken and flavorful seafood. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, ensuring each bite was a delight for the taste buds. Moreover, the hot pot offerings were equally impressive, with an array of fresh vegetables, seafood, and delectable broths to choose from. The ability to customize my dining experience according to my preferences was a definite highlight.

What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The waitstaff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout my entire dining experience. They were more than willing to guide me through the menu, make recommendations based on my preferences, and ensure that all my needs were met. The servers were quick to refill our drinks, change out the grill, and offer assistance whenever required, making us feel pampered and well taken care of.

Another commendable aspect of this establishment was the reasonable price point. Given the quality and variety of the food on offer, I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the overall dining experience was. It is rare to find a restaurant that offers such high-quality ingredients and attentive service without breaking the bank. This combination of delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices makes it an outstanding value for money.

In conclusion, my visit to KPot was an absolute delight. The remarkable food selection, attentive service, and reasonable prices all contributed to a truly memorable dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Korean BBQ or hot pot, this establishment is sure to leave you satisfied and craving for more. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an exceptional...

Pretty amazing food and great service. One of the best All you can eat KBBQ and Hotpot restaurants around. We have been here at least 2x now. Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Parking: Limited (free) parking especially on weekends. But plenty of parking across the street outside the mall. -Restaurant- The restaurant itself is pretty big, there's always K-pop music playing if you are Kpop fan. The restaurant has option to order drinks and specialty cocktails (even while you're waiting for a table). For the most part, the restaurant is very clean as well as the tables and chairs. Except the bathroom situation, could be cleaner. This restaurant does not offer Reservations unless you have a big group, which requires security deposits. -Service- During our recent visit, our waitress (Nikki) is very friendly. Never once interrupted us experience. It can be troublesome for guests when KBBQ restaurant waitress just start cooking for you as if they are rushing to get you out the door. But Nikki only came back to change the grill and check if we needed anything else, very professional. NOTE: They will offer to cook for you, if it is your first time and you do not feel comfortable in cooking it yourself or burn your food. -Food- It is all you can eat KBBQ or Hotpot or both. We decided to go with KBBQ only since it is quite warm outside, I recommend only trying hotpot if it is cold outside. In terms of the menu. there's plenty of selections. Their beef bulgogi is our absolute favorite (Had to order that twice), extremely flavorful and tender. On top of the items you can order off the menu, there's also a sauce bar where you can try different sauces for any non-marinated cuts of beef, pork or any seafood items. NOTE: Also keep in mind, before you go order everything off the menu, they will charge for extra for any excess food you do not finish to avoid food waste. And there is 2 hour dining limit. Overall it's always great experience visiting this restaurant, highly recommended if you want to try or crave KBBQ and Hotpot.

UPDATE 3/2022 The prices have changed drastically.(from 24.99 to 38.99 for Dinner). Even the lunchtime menu has a huge increase in price, but many are still ready to pay out for a Make your own Soup style K-pot. This is a great place to visit... but can’t give 5 stars.. read on. Awesome waitstaff, friendly people, nice environment with a neat little something cool to do instead of the 'ordinary' restaurant stop. ( you order from a selection of uncooked meats/veg, which you add to the soup pot or bbq pit in front of you, theres a sauce bar from which you gather sauce flavors/spices to add to your soup base) Our group consisted of meat eaters as well as vegan, kids to adults. ALL were satisfied with the all you can eat Lunch options. (current price $16.99) The meat eaters had PAGES of choices, while the veggies choices lacked in comparison - 2pages and ONLY one base for the soup option (a tomato base-wish there was a miso option, that only would’ve made it more authentic for me) Dinner cost 50% more (current$24.99) and is worth the extra add on choices for meat eaters . HOWEVER Vegetarians/Vegan get nothing new added for the 50% increase - which is not worth it. It was a stretch to pay full price for lunch with only 1/3 or fewer choices for the kpot- soup. (EVEN LESS choices for the BBQ option) already. Which, to be fair to the variety of potential customers reading these reviews, I can not give 5 stars. I would love more vegan options, a second base to choose from... maybe offer fruit to replace the meat option... All in all, this is a very neat change from the norm.. and I was surprised no one got burned by pots at a low boil right in front of us, lol.
