Mimmo's Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I preordered food for an after school program. I left in the “delivery notes” that the driver had to call the on-site staff when they arrive and I left their telephone numbers. When the driver arrive he called my phone multiple times and became irate when I could not understand where he was located at the school. I tried to explain that I was not onsite and I left clear instructions on who to contact when he arrived. He hung up on me 5 different times and called back after a few minutes to yell and scream and threaten to take our food. I texted him after the 5th time he yelled and hung up on me and asked if he could text his location to so there were zero discrepancies and I even provided the on site staff’s cell number…again to ensure he was connecting with the correct person. He ignored my texts and called me back a final time yelling into the phone “you want you food, you want you food.” When he finally gave the food to the on site staff he practically threw the food at them and ignored them when they tried to ask if he forgot the drinks. I called the restaurant to file a complaint and the person who answered was very dismissive and provided zero help or support regarding the situation. They said “we will talk to the driver” then practically hung up the phone. I will never patronize this business again. Completely unprofessional, rude and disrespectful, do not...

While it pains to write a negative review of this place as i have been ordering from here for the last four years today was the last straw.

On 7/10/18 at 6:20PM I decided to order dinner from this place and after calling back MULTIPLE times after being placed on hold numerous times for 10+ minutes or longer; i finally got the chance to place my order.

The girl told me multiple times she could not hear me and I had to call back AGAIN. When i called back i requested to order the pasta pomodoro and the girl stated "what sauce would you like?" to which i responded the regular tomato sauce. She asked me again "what sauce would i like?" I repeated my original request for the regular red tomato sauce. This time she stated to hold on just a moment, returned to the phone and said AGAIN "which sauce would i like?" in which i responded for the third time the red tomato sauce. She responded "For what?" I was in total disbelief and told them never mind and hung up.

At the same time of this review i will be informing my colleagues of this experience. (We work at a large corporation who orders from this place often, they know who we are,) Hopefully our lack of business will enforce...

Their service was not that great one when I ordered my food was ordered I also asked for a 2litre bottle of soda instead they gave me a 20oz bottle of soda. When I called back the restaurant they said if they were to send the 2litre out they had to charge me extra when all they had to do was fix the mistake the made who the order. I never ever heard of that charging a customer for an exchange they're suppose to accommodate they're customers and the person who took the order must've been distracted instead of calling the customer back and say they were sorry for the mistake so I was stuck with the 20oz. Especially the food I ordered from there this time it was horrible. So if your in buisness as long as you have if you can not accommodate your customers order and you have someone working for you someone should double and triple check those orders. I would becareful because a good critc may just be at your restaurant and if they spot something it will be written in the paper a food critic will be not just writing about how good the food is they also write about how they were treated and how the service is. Do becareful you may just have a food critic in your area....
