New London Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Bad customer service! I ordered a special through the GrubHub app that included a plain pizza, a cheesesteak, and 10 buffalo wings with fries, but there wasn’t an option to add toppings to the pizza so I put a note in the special instructions. I typed out “add pepperoni ON THE PIZZA” (which I already knew they would add the charge later). Well, when I got my food, the pizza had no pepperoni because they read the order wrong and put it on my cheesesteak instead. When I called to complain, the cashier tried to tell me I typed it in wrong on GrubHub. When I started to argue her down and explain that I am not illiterate and that I know exactly what I wrote, she told me that I didn’t need to give her attitude because she could show me the slip and prove that I made a mistake. I asked to speak to the manager but she said he was busy and then hung up on me. I then decided to go to the pizzeria in person and speak to the manager face to face. There was no manager available and I ended up speaking to the same cashier who was rude to me over the phone. After a few words back and forth, she ended up admitting she made the mistake and read the order slip wrong and apologized. Too little too late! When you cut me off and hung the phone up on me--that was the moment you made it clear you don’t care about my business. I used to order from here at least twice a month but not anymore. I will NEVER order from this...

We love this place. I believe they do their best and when it falls short of my expectations which is rare, I let them know. They always find a way to make it right. I am a loyal customer and the steak meat has gotten better, I'm such a picky eater. I think we are only human and mistakes get made. It's how we learn to do better. Ya gotta give people a break. I would imagine doing this kind of work can be stressful. Treating people like you would want to be treated is smart. On another note some of the prices are questionable. Sorry guys, 😳 like french fries. Are potatoes really that expensive? However I feel like all food prices everywhere aren't right anymore. first of all best fries EVER!!! Their fries are crunchy on the outside and the inside is like mashed potatoes, I feel like chef Ramsey made these fries.OK so I I got a bacon cheeseburger platter and the burger was huge, I had to eat it how Guy ferri (triple d bull on food network) eats his big sandwiches lol.
