Dont ever go here when it is fair time. The staff -except for the cook- cannot handle it and there is no communication between the waitressing staff and the customers. They sat us at a dirty table and then we waited 45 mins + before we could get a waitress to even acknowledge us as a customer to ask to clean the table and give us menus. In most resturantes it's a rule of thumb to at least have the drinks to a new table in 2 mins or less. It is specially fustrating when you watch them give other tables multiple refills to their drinks and you are still sitting at a dirty table with nothing and the waitresses wont even make eye contact walking around with their heads down. One of the customers even got up and started doing stuff that the waitresses should have done but the waitresses where to busy looking at the floor to notice. I will give a shout out to the cook. We were a tour group of 11 who visited Our Hometown, Philly, in Philadelphia, Mississippi for a late 3pm lunch. Our table ordered steak, pancakes and sauteed vegetables. The steak was ample, old-style Worcestershire marinate, topped with fried eggs - "very tasty". The vegetable selection included: brussel sprouts and asparagus crisped on the outside like parchment with bacon; toasted golden cauliflower florets, fresh handcut sweet potato fries. The most delectable vegetables we had during our trip to MS! Lastly, light fluffy pancakes with strawberries and a touch of powdered sugar. Chefs Adrian and Christina cooked up a fine lunch at a moment's notice for our group of 11. They even had a peanut butter cup cupcake to celebrate our tour leader with '"happy birthday" inscribed in chocolate on the plate and a candle! The three servers were delightful, organized! I wish I could give 0 stars because this was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED I ordered chicken and waffles and what i got was chicken fingers and a flat waffle so I asked the server could I order something else and I ordered the pancake combination which came with 3 pancakes eggs a sausage and 2 pieces of bacon and the sausage was VERY SALTY and the bacon was wrapped up like a ball and to make matters worse a guy whom I assumed was the manager came out and asked who was going to pay for the chicken fingers like u expect me to pay for something that I clearly didn't order he was VERY RUDE and I will NEVER...
